Jennings worked for George W. Bush and is on cnn regularly talking stupidity

Don’t justify people’s ability to support a known racist, that makes them terrible people too

The reality that democrats need to accept is just how racist and sexiest America really is

Along with large news organizations being more focused on business/ratings and not the practice of journalism
I’m not so much focused on what he’s saying. Although I didn’t watch the entire interview, it seems like some people just backed down rather than challenging him directly, stopping him in his tracks, and presenting the facts. If they did push back, I’d like to see it.

Now, this guy is being championed as some kind of “Mega MAGA,” with some even calling for him to become Trump’s press secretary. The issue here is that allowing these actions to go unchecked only fuels a narrative that Democrats should be actively working to counter.

Had a huge fight with my dad earlier. I told him that he voted for eugenics against his own son. Told him he has life boat morality on a full stomach. Everyone else is a worthwhile sacrifice for the vague promise of $2.50/gallon gasoline.

I’m going no contact, maybe for a while. After this semester is done, I’m probably moving my family abroad, likely to Barcelona or Mexico City.

I will have to the leave the country if this all becomes law.

The stupid people in this country hate us. They hate that we tell them inconvenient truths. They hate that we make more money than them (and graciously pay higher taxes and ask to pay more), they hate that we want a decent society, they hate that we make any and all worthwhile culture.

If you are able, I suggest that everyone reading this, relocate out of US territory and ride this storm out. Take your human capital and any capital you can bring with you. They want America to be Hungary, fine, get ready for Hungarian style brain drain. The smartest Hungarians all live in Munich and Frankfurt for a reason.

But I’d start by arguing that’s a CNN problem continuing to have him and others like him.. it should be the host’s obligation to hold the guest to some standard with regard to the truth/facts

But that’s also why whomever the candidate is in the future, they have to able to navigate certain realities

But Scott Jennings was ready to crash out on cnn because he got fact checked on some shh and couldn’t just go with the BS talking points when the data was readily accessible

A pretty solid trio of picks

I’d pair student loan cancellation with a promise to make employers drop college degree requirements wherever practicable.

You don’t need a degree for many white collar jobs and there’s smart people out there without college degrees and quite frankly they are discriminated against by most employers.

Why?

It's not that I want folks to suffer; it's that people need to understand that their vote has material consequences, and I think we're past the point in American society where we need to find the next superstar politician to shield people from their own accountability. In a democracy, citizens have the responsibility to be informed.

The way I see it, all these takes about what the Democrats need to do come from a place that refuses to acknowledge the reality that Democrats have moved right, and they haven't been rewarded by the electorate; they've moved left, and they haven't been rewarded by the electorate. What else is there to do other than accept the role of permanent political punching bag?

It's time to let the American people have the demagoguery they want.
Honestly, we're long overdue for another financial collapse and I'm guessing sometime in the next four years would make for perfect timing.

I could be wrong but imo a 4B like movement is unlikely to take off in america.

it seems obvious to say, but like the culture is pretty different.

Korea was relatively late to integrate women into the workforce.
Domestic violence rate I believe are higher.
overall marriage satisfaction is lower.

the returns to getting married in america are still pretty high, the happiest people in american are married adults.

Korea is pretty different in that being in heterosexual relationship with men was probably negative expected value.

not really so in america. most heterosexual women are gunna wanna get married and be in relationships with heterosexual men.
4B is only going to work with younger Americans though. Nobody in their 40s and 50s is getting dating and political advice from TikTok and IG lol

I think it's more that so many people are way stupider than anyone ever imagined.

The funniest thing about all of this is that Trump and even the GOP still need Dem congressional votes to pass major legislation. I bet Trump will cry about removing the filibuster in the Senate for legislation but the GOP is extremely scared to touch this as a simple majority passing laws would essentially force the GOP to pass solutions instead of simply criticizing Dems.

Remember, this is the same political party who spend almost a decade criticising Obamacare and when they FINALLY had the opportunity to repeal it in 2017, what did they do? Keep it alive and drop the fight to repeal it.

Back to Kamala going/not going on Rogan.
Just start at the 9:25 mark and go until at least the 11-18minute mark and listen.

Whether she went on Rogan or ShayShay matters, it mattered. Not because Rogan is way bigger, but Rogans format isn’t that little list of questions drawing out forced or rehearsed answers.

I’m not even going to touch on her “only doing Black podcasts/outside of CallMeDADDY” and who that did/didn’t turn off/on.
What I didn’t know was that the Podcast with the most BLACK LISTENERS is, Rogan. Neither did most people.
Let’s do ShayShay and breakfast Club though, ROGAN is for the MAGA only and we can’t touch those voters, they’re staunch supporters of Trump right?

In 2027 when campaigns start again it will be interesting to revisit this thought
