C'mon famb

She did her **** in the pass and I am cool with people being upset about that, but this is OD.

Not sure what his stance is on immigration, but all things considered, I find this both hilarious and ironic.

"Is it your position that it’s inherently immoral to come to America from a foreign land? I’m glad my Dad came from Cuba."

... except if it's someone else coming from a place I don't like...

This dude defending Columbus more than his own father.. in 2020

If de Blasio grows a pair and tries to take it down, catch Cuomo at Columbus Circle with his peeps like...

Holy ****. That's a ******* statue of Christopher Columbus. That thing is high & huge. I never about that, it's just always been there to me. That's placed at like the heart of Manhattan. That has to come down.

You bruhs for to read with profile of a centrist libertarian swing voter, that now is big on BLM, that Vox ran today,

It is as nutty and all over the place as your would expect....

This got me....

Jane Coaston
Do you think that this protest has given you a chance to get some of that out or speak out in some way?

Nathan
It feels nice to do something. I’d tell people that if you care about ****, just *****ing on Facebook’s not going to change anything; go out there. I guess trying to film and getting footage was my toe into it.

But here I am now, [and] it’s odd. I mean, I’m still, I can vote for centrist Democrats, but I’m too right of center. I’m definitely not progressive, but, I mean, there’s always overlap. I’ve always thought that the militarization of police has been a bad idea. The drug war has been catastrophic, as far as I can see. I think if states want to legalize [drugs], that’s up to them. I wouldn’t do it, but I’d even say psychedelics should be legal now. But it was weird because when I was at VMI, to [Republicans], I was a libertarian and then I worked with libertarians, and to them I was a statist ****. You probably get this if you’ve been paying attention to right-wing stuff, but every libertarian agrees on two things: that there’s only one libertarian and it’s them.

Biden is doing worse than Clinton among Hispanic voters

Clinton crushed Trump with Hispanic registered voters in the final 2016 preelection polls. She led by 61% to 23%. (I use the preelection polls for an apples-to-apples comparison for current polling.)

Biden, on the other hand, holds an average 58% to 33% lead among Hispanic registered voters in an average of eight live interview polls taken over the last two months. These eight polls were ones for which I could procure a breakdown among white, Hispanic and black voters. All told we are looking at somewhere around 700 to 800 Hispanic voters total.

There are deep, still unresolved contradictions within the Democratic coalition. There's a reason why Bernie was the runner up twice and why AOC will likely finish in first or second place in 2024 if she runs. The conventional narrative e is that Bernie's base of support were affluent college kids which ignores the diversity in his coalition. We won with Asians, younger black people, Muslims, Native Americans and Latinos, especially Chicanos.

It's funny how in 2012, when the narrative was that Latinos clinched Obama's reelection, all the liberal pundits were trilling and tropicalizing at the mere mention of Latino voters. In 2012, the mostly white, liberal punditry practically started salsa dancing in their chairs whenever there was a graphic of Obama's share of Latino voters. Now, the media act like the only PoC in America are older black folks.

Deep down, the liberal establishment: the media, party insiders and most elected Democrats, think that voting for Bernie was a bad thing and people and groups that supported Bernie need to atone for what they did. That atonement is voting for Biden in exchange for nothing material. As a result, we have this game of chicken where Biden antagonizes every group that didn't support him. Hell, he antagonizes black people, a bloc that did support him. Basically he antagonizes every democratic constituency that is older, white and affluent.

Because the prospect of seeing Trump and the MAGA hogs melt down after losing is so enticing, Biden likely will win and there should be strong down ballot effects. While beating Trump is a pressing matter right now, I am worried that the liberal elite will take a massive anti-Trump coalitions support as validation for their "tough love" approach. That is scary because beating Trump and securing Democratic majorities may not amount to much if Biden and the Democrats govern like they have campaigned, in a manner contemptuous of any one even vaguely left.

As a result, we have to keep marching, protesting, try to organize as many workers as we can, change the terrain. Vote out Trump, keep fighting in the streets to force Trump out and when Biden and a Democratic majority take power, keep on marching until we have, at minimum, major changes to the rules. we need rule changes that can allow constituencies, which supported Obama, to flex there numerical superiority and get meaningful changes without having to fight for every thing in the streets and hope that enough moderate Republicans allow us to have a little power.

So for the next 12 months, we'll have to shove Biden over that finish line (all while he calls us losers, basement dwellers, calls us border jumpers, aligns us with the Chinese state, mocks our parents for owning liquor stores and not speaking perfect English, and throwing fake AAVE at us) with and then shove him into signing a new voting rights act and hopefully Statehood for DC, PR and maybe the breakup of California and, of course, packing those courts.

Bernie is taking his primary lost better than you are famb.

Why do italians hold this grandiose regard for CC. He didnt even do what historians say he did in regards to “discovering” civilizations. **** that already existed And did not ask for his help.

they swear he was equivalent of the internet, making the World smaller and connecting hemispheres, somehow “saving” the indigenous population.

**** him and his crew

Ohhhh, just like that we are suppose to forget the past 5 years of caping.

I'll always vote for the leftmost candidate in a primary and Bernie was that in the last two primaries. But the biggest draw about Bernie was that he could, from the white house, foment direct action which is where the real change happens. Thankfully, it turns out that we can o that without assistance from the White House.

Now if I ever open up a pizza parlor, I would, of course, have a picture of Mt Rushmore with Gritty, Karl Marx, Garfield and Bernie, that's a given. But right now, it's not about Bernie right now, the struggle, playing out in the streets, is about us and not any one politician.

Ok fine.

But in your post you directly mention the man and his campaign. Seems like your are airing your grievances once again.

Secondly, your support for Bernie for the past couple of years was not strictly some "he is a means to an end" steez. You defend him over and over whenever someone brought up the problematic **** he would say  . So it is funny when you say him being against defunding the police was the thing that made turn on him, because anyone really paying attention to dude could probably have guessed that was the stance he would take.

Welcome aboard champ!!
