To be a conservative is so simple and easy. You declare that you are worthy of wealth and power and the hordes of the unworthy are conspiring to take your wealth and power and you must stop them by any means necessary.
To be liberal is complex and difficult. We have a camp filled with multiple languages, races, creeds, organizing principles, grievances and a myriad of tactical disagreements as well. Intersectionality and solidarity must be the watch words and no one should dismiss anyone else's principle issue as a niche issue. Race, economics, gender, orientation, national origin all matter and are all used, at various times and to varying degrees, for certain groups to marginalize, harass, humiliate and extort other groups.
In war and in politics, it is easier for a smaller but homogeneous and cohesive force to hold the higher ground against a larger but fractious and undisciplined force who is obliged to attack from the low ground. As it stands, conservative interests control or have sway over much of the unelected, permanent parts of government. They get their Defense contracts, cheap Federal grazing fees, they control too much of the courts and law enforcement, the Federal Reserve works for money lenders and not workers and our infrastructure is built for the suburbs but not the inner city.
It is no wonder that conservatives will use every arcane trick gifted to them by the slave owners who wrote the Constitution. It is unsurprising that they will wreck the legislative, elected portion of the state in order to preserve a highly dysfunctional status quo that favors them and only them.
We have to build a massive coalition, be united and build a massive and sustainable super majority if we ever want to level these fundamental inequities in our body politic.

Gotta watch Bill's show man. He's constantly citing polls or reports that most Muslims in the middle East do not disagree with terrorist attacks and the ill intent towards America.
According to Bill it's almost the majority. I don't agree with him but he defintely feels strongly about that.
He's said hundreds of millions of Muslims agree with something like the Charlie Hebdo attack and that many agree that if you depict Muhammad or make fun of him you deserve that type of violence as punishment.

Also where she said she's going to build a wall to keep Mexicans out and later has a **** eating grin that is basically mocking that same group's holiday and subsequently saying I love them? Hilary building that email server was dumb and unnecessary.
But the hyperventilating, investigations, and hearings it's lead to seem to me to be pretty obviously partisan.
The emails scandal is a political problem not a legal one. imo
