I dont care about politics ... Or the game of ******* with the other side ... And I firmly believe all is fair ... I'm not trying to rationalize anything ... In all honesty, great play by the Dems to have this 3 of clubs in the hole ...
My beef is with delegitimizing rape as a means to block this nomination ... It is a disgusting move because it damages women who are actually victims of rape ...

Republican/WH strategy was to call on her to testify, hoping she wouldn't, and then they could say they tried before confirming Kavanaugh. Instead, Ford called their bluff.
Now they either push through anyway, hear her out, or Kavanaugh withdraws. All three are bad options.

Might I ask then why the overwhelming majority of your “contributions” consist of defending Trump from any and all criticism, showering him with lavish praise, liberals this and liberals that and just in general trolling attempts that wouldn’t look out of place on r/The_Donald?
I’ll certainly agree that you don’t care about discussing politics beyond licking Trump’s boots at every step. You were in here showering Trump with praise and claiming victory when Trump had his historic NK summit.
Yet you disregarded a broader foreign policy discussion on Trump’s gutting of the State Dept. and US soft power.
Unsurprisingly the victory lap and Nobel peace prize aspirations were shortlived as Mattis and the WH’s own reports claimed the polar opposite of Trump’s repeated claims in the days after the summit of having solved NK and there no longer being a NK nuclear threat. Mattis said he saw nothing to suggest progress towards denuclearization.
It later turned out that NK simply continued rapidly expanding their nuclear facilities during and after the summit, once again hardly surprising to anyone but Trump bootlickers he managed to fool.
In fact it was Kim who came out of the summit victorious. He got a major concession (suspended joint military drills) out of Trump, against the advice of Mattis, and Kim didn’t even have to do anything besides giving Trump a photo op.
