***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Apparently right after undergrad you instantly begin representing clients in a court of law without going through any other schooling too. Very interesting

Sure does. In as little as a week you can go from fry cook to lawyer. Apparently you can also go through med school in 4 years to become a nurse and make 450k a year (with driving an Uber at night).Amazing

Even if you didn't decide the college route, there are still a lot of great opportunities. The economy is doing great under this president.

Not fake at all, but if any admin wants to see my credentials I don't mind sharing my linkedin...

It always amazes me how personal this thread gets.

Still amazes me as well. A few weeks ago I was minding my own business when I was subject to a vicious attack in here by a new poster that didn't agree with my views. He threatened to leave the thread but continues to post. I have never attacked anyone personally like the left does in this thread.

Also pretty cool how easily people understand your sarcasm, and how difficult they find it to understand sarcasm from others.

What are your thoughts on releasing the 3D gun plans.

Many plans are already out. 3D gun parts are already being manufactured.

News media is oversimplifying the 3D gun situation, it's not as easy as "print gun, shoot gun, kill things" which is how it's been portrayed and what I'm seeing being people's understanding of it.

For a single firearm it's cheaper to buy it illegally or build one honestly.

I support 3D printing of specific parts of firearms, but the idea itself opens up the ability to design and manufacture parts I don't agree with. Slippery slope.

I agree in terms of it being cheaper to just buy the gun illegally. I think there was a huge fuss over nothing. The guy pushing it aims to be provocative so he got his wish. Practically, it won't be a huge issue.

In terms of slippery slope, I think restringing free speech is a slippery slope.
