Guess these'll have to be trashed...

On a more serious note,it is a bit ominous/concerning that they're cancelling the summit after NK just destroyed one of it's nuclear sites as a sign of good faith. Not to mention Pence and Bolton talking up the 'Libya model' in regards to NK last week...

People really underestimate OUR PRESIDENT ELECT's temperament and skill as a negotiator. Rocket Man has been talking to UNDAPPER CHARLES and Stubborn Nancy so he wanted to embarrass our PRESIDENT ELECT. DONALD JOHN TRUMP in all of his splendor exposed the LIB scheme and wrote a beautiful letter that would make anyone cry. I hope that we never have to use our weapons on LIBS either but you never know.

is it concerning to anyone that the US government minted a coin labeling Kim Jong Un, a man guilty of countless atrocities and international crimes, as "Supreme Leader"?

And didn't give Donald Trump the same honorific? Shameful! What more does he have to do before we will start calling him by his proper title? smh

Players who kneel during the anthem to peacefully protest police brutality and systemic racism shouldn't be in the country according to the president. I wonder what it is about those athletes...
The overwhelming majority of those who kneel have something in common but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Trump, on NFL, suggests players who kneel 'shouldn't be in the country'
President Donald Trump praised the NFL this week for its new rule requiring players on the field to stand for the national anthem, adding that perhaps those who protest during the anthem “shouldn’t be in the country.”

“I think that's good. I don't think people should be staying in locker rooms, but still, I think it’s good,” the president told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” in an interview that was taped Wednesday and aired Thursday morning. “You have to stand, proudly, for the national anthem or you shouldn't be playing. You shouldn't be there. Maybe you shouldn't be in the country. You have to stand proudly for the national anthem. And the NFL owners did the right thing, if that's what they’ve done.”

The NFL announced a policy on Wednesday that will require players on the field during the national anthem to stand for it but allow players to remain in their locker room or elsewhere off the field during the song if they choose. The league drew withering criticism from the president last season over players who knelt or otherwise protested, generally against racial injustice and police brutality, during the anthem.

Trump turned the issue of players protesting during the anthem into a nationwide controversy last fall at an Alabama rally for then-Sen. Luther Strange, when he collectively called players who kneel during the anthem a “son of a *****” and said they should be removed from the NFL.

Despite transforming the issue from a sports-page discussion to a new culture-war front, Trump said Wednesday that it was pressure from Americans, not just him, who forced the NFL to adopt its new policy.

“I think the people pushed it forward. This was not me. I brought it out. I think the people pushed it forward. This country’s very smart. We have very smart people,” the president said. “And, you know, that's something ideally could have been taken care of when it first started. It would have been a lot easier. But if they did that, they're doing the right thing.”

The whole national anthem before any sporting event is just weird. I think it’s a fairly recent thing but it’s become one of those things that is described as if George Washington himself proclaimed it should be thus.

We only play it at international events - ours and the country we are playing.

It still feels strange to me that it’s played before HS sports etc. It has shades of Communist brainwashing which is fairly ironic.

I've mentioned before how in one school I went to they'd assemble us in the basement before classes every day and we'd all sing the anthem, my country tis of thee and america the beautiful. EVERY MORNING. In any other context that **** would be creepy brainwashing but in that one we were just being good little americans.

Democrats weren't invited but guess who showed up, the WH lawyer. In other words a lawyer representing the WH and a subject in an ongoing investigation showed up to a DOJ briefing about highly sensitive information relevant to that ongoing investigation.
