You guys should check out this Erza Klein interview with Bhaskar Sunkara, founder of the Jacobin.

Klein is a decent interviewer imo, but I think he really did a good job there of asking some very good question. His point about tribalism was especially good. But I felt many of his question were kinda half answered.

While Sunkara, does a very good job of of explaining why socialist rally around people like Sanders and Corbyn. He is kinda reasonably on the the expectations socialist have, but some of his points of an ideal society fall flat. Especially in the face of Klein's questioning

That works too. The fact is these things have happened but outside of the Japanese camps, none of them were considered "People". Hell people were more then happy enough to market those folks and guns wouldnt have saved them in front of a tank

I have minor beefs with Bernie, but let us not get carried away.

He falls on the right side of the gun regulation debate, he is no way a Pro Russia shill like many, and while his comments about Russian bots was trash and very self serving he firmly is against Russian interference in our election.

If you are in anyway left, Bernie Sanders on aggregate is a good actor.

let's not be like Bernie bros here. nobody's perfect and we shouldn't immediately vilify someone just because we don't agree with 100% of what they do.
