No a might want to check Bloomberg. The GOP have announced amendments to their tax bill. They are increasing the proposed repartition rates. Adoption credit is back, and changes to the pass through rates

I thought nothing was gonna get changed :lol

The latest Roy Moore story...yikes :stoneface::smh:

I bet it still won't be sick enough to stop him from winning

we shall see now won't we...
So you admit you were wrong then. It is either wait and see for the annual rate, or the economy is growing at 3% right now. You can not have it both ways Edwin

Since you struggle with basic math, lemme make something clear to you. Fourth quarter growth as the to be 4.7 percent to make it to 3 perfect.

So good luck to you and the King Bigot.

evangelicals vote too.

nothing odious enough for it not to pass.

let's be clear, we're all front row to see whether da smearing of Reagan tax reform was a retcon or nah.

Economist have already decided. Reganomics was trash.Even Bush Sr. recognized that. He was calling it BS during the primary.

Plus you were wrong happen. You said nothing would change.

I love watching you try to discuss anything relating to actual policy or basic economics. You always look silly.

Thanks for the lulz

Our federal minister of Finance got cooked in our parliament today about the Belgian government showing up in the Paradise Papers.
Besides a couple brown nosers from his own party who practically had their heads up his ***, pretty much everyone else laid waste on him. Even my mom joined in to watch the parliamentary slandering session.
When it was his turn to speak he tried to sit on his high horse and act like he's been fighting against financial fraud when he's known in the European parliament for stonewalling just about any legislation to go after fraud and tax evasion. He also passed a "carat tax" in our country that was literally written, approved and celebrated by the Antwerp diamond lobby. The tax on businesses in the diamond sector was changed from being calculated based on their profits to a set rate of 0,55%. This was also in the wake of large fraud scandals in the Antwerp diamond sector in previous years.
Regarding the current scandal of a Belgian state-controlled investment firm investing money through a shell corporation in the British Virgin Islands for 20 years and also setting up a similar construction in Hongkong to do the same, the minister said he was unaware and shocked by these revelations and then finished by saying he can't really do much for the time being because "the journalists have the documents, we don't". Several representatives proceeded to laugh at this last comment.
Apparently it's a lot of work to demand the Paradise Papers documents or to simply audit the state-controlled investment firm that is routing all that government money through a shell corporation.
