Name calling and talking down on fellow Americans like they're inferior because they didn't vote like you is not the way guys.. I didn't vote for him but he won and I respect whoever is running the show as I'm still an American at the end of the day and don't want the country to fail. America has spoken and they made it clear who they want to lead the country, let's stop the doom and gloom and just hope that he can right the ship.
Brother he tried to violently overthrow the government and permanently end the concept of free elections when he lost last time.

Waking up to hearing Dems need to go more right while the other side continues to go extremely right and the media is asking "why don't the Libs lend an olive branch to the right by maybe going to the right"

I think Ima start practicing what I've been preaching to others and just keep my focus on the local levels for a bit because that might be the echo chamber that trumps all

It’s not us even talking down or name calling it’s the LIES that warrant some of our responses. That’s it. If more people told the truth or had honest debates, they’d get grace. It’s the fallacious rhetoric that angers us

Both sides have flaws. Both sides have issues. But, it’s the dishonesty of one particular party that annoys people

Trump was in office from 2016-2020, when, where and HOW did he help them? :lol :lol :lol :lol

He left them poor back then, and he’s going to leave them poor again in 2024 and beyond :lol :lol
This kind of dismissiveness—laughing off voters or labeling them as "dumb"—clearly didn’t help Kamala's campaign. The significant shifts we’re seeing in many states reflect a real sentiment among voters who believe they were better off between 2016 and 2020 compared to today. Mocking those concerns just alienates people further. So, go ahead, but the reality is that addressing these concerns genuinely is the only way to bridge that divide.

People are quick to fall back on explanations like "America doesn’t want a female president" or labeling voters as biased against women. But if you look at the numbers, it’s clear that this election wasn’t as close as 2016, where Hillary would have won with the popular vote if not for the Electoral College. Replacing Biden with someone from the same administration—without tackling the issues voters are most concerned about, like immigration—was risky. To succeed, the candidate would have needed to make clear, strong commitments on those issues.

She didn't.
Not only that but having ~90 days to do all of this is legitimately insane lol

Notice the conspicuous absence of any allegations of 'voter fraud' this time around in spite of a foreign adversary specifically targeting one sides electoral process across numerous key battleground states on election night :lol>D

I mean, he’s right on some points

There so much hypocrisy in this though.. trump didn’t run a campaign on fear? Trump ran on policy? This just highlights once again trump just had to exist and Kamala had to be perfect

I really do think her downfall was being so closely tied to the current administration. Ppl vote on the here and now. I wonder if she would have been more successful had she not been the current VP.

I keep seeing people talking about “you have to appeal to their interests.”

Again, I’m genuinely asking: how do you get through to people who call forgiving student loans and affordable healthcare “communism” and “begging for handouts” but are also statistically the biggest recipients of government welfare and subsidies.
I know there’s more think pieces to come on how this happened but I think you’re pretty much hitting on what this is mostly about.

The American undecided/centrist voter and electorate is full of **** these people move off vibes. Look at all these states once again voting for liberal/progressive things like pro choice protection and minimum wage increase but voting for someone like trump like that’s not antithetical.

These people are unserious vibe merchants.

And the left just lost a very consequential election because of the men you insult.

… and the right still isn’t going to help said men. I’m a black man. He said the Dems talked down to black men. The Republican Party did the exact same thing. All we ask for is honesty and transparency

Bro no…. He’s not reconsidering ****. He’s going to do project 2025 while the iron is hot. Probably go after his political enemies too.

Am I the only one here who’s paid attention to Trump the last 4 years? He wasn’t reasonable in 2016 when he had handlers and now he has sycophants with agendas. They literally wrote a manual on how they plan to instill an American Oligarchy.
Then we are F'd.

:(

Yes and not only did he receive public backlash but he was charged with crimes as well, deservedly so... Wallowing in misery and name calling your fellow Americans does nothing and only worsens the divide currently in the country. I voted for her but I believe in the Democratic process and our country has spoken, they got who they want. Instead of name calling fellow Americans, we need to be more focused on why and how the left seems to continue to fall of favor with many of its supporters. Dems need to look and the mirror and see that fighting culture wars isn't working and go back to focusing on policy, policy, policy.

Simple. Lie to them. That's what the Republican party essentially does. These people are still poor and disenfranchised. Trump does nothing for them but he tells them what they want to hear.

Democrats have to start telling them they'll lower the prices of groceries. Start telling them they'll focus on illegal immigration and protecting our borders.

Essentially you have to be a Republican to beat a Republican. Cheaters beat cheaters. The key is once you win the presidency, take back the house/senate and so on then work on things that benefit all of society, protecting civil rights and so on.

The vast majority of voters don't know when something benefits or hurts them they just know what they're told. Treat them like the lowest common denominator they are, coddle them and do the work behind the scenes.

At least it’s a world wide problem and not just us I guess… worshiping rich people is wild to me but here we are.
I mean it makes sense-so much of what big corporations produce is central to our lives.. The food we eat, the medical services we get, our phones/data, hell even our dating/sex lives are driven by tech companies nowadays. The billionaires that own/run these companies take all the credit even though they truly don't give 2 cents about the average person (I realize the irony in saying this on a website dedicated to a massive corporation lol).
