Man if people can get here from the Congo (air or sea) they should be able to stay no doubt. That's a long trek to make to a new land.
That's why i give props to the Venezuelans and Colombians who are here. They have to cross like 6-7 borders to get here.
My Guatemalan uncle rode a cheap motorcycle into the US in the late 1960s like Che Guevara in the motorcycle diaries movie. He said he did a bunch of sightseeing in Mexico. Eventually he rode across into the US but didnt like it here so he went back to Mexico City and spent a few years there before driving back up to California where he now lives.

Code switching, no diff than if you spoke another language. Was talking to this Canadian lady recently and it was impressive how she jumped to smooth French when talking to someone else vs general North American english.

Also according to the anonymous source, earlier this week leaders in the Trump campaign privately told Robinson that he was not welcome at rallies for Trump or vice presidential candidate JD Vance. He was slated to speak at the Vance appearance on Wednesday, but his office announced that Robinson had tested positive for COVID.

The thing I love about MAGA is that it truly is every person for themselves. I highly doubt biscuit dude did anything more deplorable than he's always done. He's pulling Trump's numbers down in that state and this is what it is about. This reminds me of Don Blankenship in WV that Trump abandoned but dude was in it for himself and kept on pushing. "North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson cancelled two campaign events on Thursday scheduled for Vance and Warren counties. The move came in anticipation of a forthcoming CNN story, according to sources familiar with the matter.

A source familiar with the matter said the revelations about Robinson include him saying things in online forums about liking transgender porn, peeping inside women’s locker rooms while he was a student at North Carolina A&T State University and verbalizing wanting to own slaves.

A reporter for CNN allegedly working on the story didn’t respond to a request for comment from Anderson Alerts.

Robinson's closest advisers and Robinson himself didn’t respond to requests for comment, and no sources were willing to be named to describe the nature of the story.

Robinson recently came under fire for allegedly attending video pornography stores, and is now facing pressure to bow out of the governor’s race, according to multiple sources.

North Carolina is scheduled to begin mailing out military and overseas ballots to voters on Friday, giving Robinson minimal wiggle room under state law to drop out.

It’s unclear whether he’ll do so, and if he did, whether his name could be removed from the ballot. Mike Lonergan, a spokesman for Robinson’s campaign, told a local CBS reporter the idea of Robinson dropping out is “absurd nonsense.”

Patrick Gannon, a spokesman for the North Carolina State Board of Elections, said in a statement that candidates have until 11:59 p.m. to submit a written notice of withdrawal. The state party of the withdrawn candidate could then select a replacement. But whether that new candidate could get on the ballot is an open question.

“If the party selects a replacement and certifies that name to the State Board, and ballots have been printed, then it would need to be determined whether it is practical to reprint the ballots with the replacement nominee's name,” Gannon said in a statement."
