Dude said he thinks the Sixers "could maybe be a 6th seed and maybe make the 2nd round again".

The Sixers are going be really, really good this year. Preseason or not, that team looks READY and doesn't even have Bynum playing yet. He starts practicing full out with them in a few days...I can't wait to see what they look like with him in there.

Sixers could very well be a top four seed in the East if everything breaks right for them.

 Good job

Theyre TERRIBLE in 2k because of this. Played them twice and its just been blowouts, they just dont have anyone to feed the ball when you need a score and they dont have video game depth as I like to call it. Team looks like theyre primed to make some noise in real life though,
Nick young, J rich. Thats all you need bro

It was a slight against them, I even said that theyre primed to make some noise. I stand by my statements however and they will be the 6th seed in the east and even if they were a top 4 seed 2nd round is the end of the line for them. If you dont like that then I apologize and I'm being serious.

I think it was Dwight back "injury" was a ploy to get him out of Orlando b/c he didn't have the guts to say he wanted out. First he was supposed to be out til January, yet he's catching alleys effortlessly in October.

I think he should've gone to Bkln. That would have been a DYNASTY in the making :{ speaking of the nets, they actually don't look half bad. Bunch of noteworthy names that got lost in the system. I'm banking on a Mia La final.

so.. did MKG just fade into obscurity already? I guess being drafted by bobcats can do that to anybody, but he had a pretty big hype before the draft.

:{ I don't think Dwight faked a herniated disc that is a serious injury that effects both the back and leg(s) it shows up in an MRI too so I'm sure Orlando requested proof of his injury. Recovery time after a microdiscectomy surgery is typically 3 months, he had it done in April it's now October so six months makes sense to me.

How much news you expecting to hear from the Bobcats preseason?

Shame on Roy for not working on his game.

SacRacs,

How long before Brooks is the starting PG?
I don't see him starting anytime soon with Smart's man crush on IT. I could see Brooks playing 10 minutes one game, then 30 the next, he'll be getting really inconsistent minutes along with Jimmer (no way he plays less then he did last year).

And this is really surprising, along with the signing, since Brooks is a vet. When we first signed him, I assumed he'd be our starter. But everything I've seen, heard, read it'll be a platoon situation at PG.

Nick Young has been KILLING in the preseason, as has Dorrell Wright. Between those two, J-Rich, Jrue, Thad Young and Bynum you don't really need a real "finisher" to close games. They're deep at every position and have a great mix of young guys with potential and vets.

GM Survey: LeBron and Heat the faves, but look out for L.A.

In his ninth season in the NBA, LeBron James got his ring. Now, how many more can he get?
At least one, if you ask the league's general managers. Despite major moves made by the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat are still the prohibitive favorites to win their second straight title, according to NBA.com's 11th annual GM Survey. And James is clearly head and shoulders above every other player in the league.
All 30 GMs responded to 57 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, and offseason moves. General managers were not permitted to vote for their own team or personnel. Percentages are based on the pool of respondents to each question of the survey, rather than all 30 GMs.
