But Kevin Durant can rap.......The local rumor with KD is that it's a family issue, I don't know if I already posted it but allegedly his brother, Tony, is bleeding him dry ($) and he finally had to cut him off and there's a rift. And that's on top of the whole "his mom doesn't come to games anymore" thing, which rumor there was again that there was a family rift because she and his Grandma don't approve of his behavior (like the rapping) which is leading to the technicals (he is leading the NBA). All rumor, all gossip, other than that KD has admitted his Grandma texts him and tells him stop cussing.
I don't know, don't care. He just needs to play better and stop turning the ball over so much.
But his brother, Tony, who was never popular among Thunder fans is probably even less so now
He could be just tired and burnt out by the regular season and the number of minutes he is playing. He has played basketball for the last like 42 months straight with long playoff runs, olympic camps, olympics, lockout exhibition tour, and the NBA season.
Thanks for posting this though, you hinted at something last week but didnt go into this much detail. These rumors seem like they have to be true, or at the very least something personal is going on. It also explains why I hardly see that commercial with him and his mom on TV anymore. Its been weeks since I've seen it now that I think about it.

KD certainly doesn't have anything going on with his mom and grandmother.
And for one...that woman used to curse like a sailor so I doubt the rapping or techs have anything to do with it.

Wait let me get this straight? KD has seemed unfocused because he wants to be a rapper? And he's cursing too much so his mom and grandma are angry? Haha. What the hell?
If his issues are remotely related to any of those things, he's going to have major issues getting past the hump.
Not buying it tho. KD's always had a tendency to seem like he's not part of the play. It's def been worse lately, he doesn't look or seem completely engaged since around the all-star break. I'd guess its more of his frustrations with the players and/or coaching. Not his grandma getting mad at him for getting techs.
The kid needs to gain weight or put on muscle, he is getting to the point predictability, teams are starting to adjust very nicely to him and Russ, especially since James Harden is gone. So, it also could be its becoming more difficult for him to be great. Could be a mix of things, but he better come ready come playoff time. OKC needs KD more than ever now.

^ the real issue is...KD sees Russell becoming better and more dominant than him and the fact that he's becoming robin and its killing him. OKC is lowkey Russ's team now.
