Dude was epic in their title run

He wasn't though. Besides that shot he was just "Solid" for them during that title run. In fact he was just "Solid" the entire time he was there. IMO he got his jersey retired off of his merits as a Pro rather than what he did in college. Playing for the heat with Lebron and Wade, being solid with them, winning a ring, etc.

But Novak missed all his threes and the Knicks missed a TON of wide open 3s the first. Kidd was shooting 14% let's not pretend like that's normal either

How does that negate the point that we are a bad match up for the heat?

Clearly if the Knicks shoot 20% from the 3 they lose

If Miami doesn't shoot the ball well they won't win either. Battier was key to their run. Bosh hitting threes in Boston. The 3 ball is big for Miami.

Stop it 5. JKIDD is not a pure shooter, the 3 game is a late development in his game. Teams allowed him to take those shots cas he didnt have a shot till he worked on it late in his career. Stats are padded. But he will hurt you now if you allow him to shoot. Truth.

So you're saying the team that attempts and makes the second most 3's in the league WOULDN'T  beat the Heat if they don't make their 3's?

They're 6-17 from 3. Hardly impressive or abnormal. GETTING 17 threes off in a half leads to the real issue for Miami. It's not worth detailing further for some of you.

we're shooting 6 for 17 from 3. How is that a good #? If you're basing our small lead on the fact that we're simply hitting our 3s you should probably pay more attention to the game.
