Dunno if Wes watches it though...

Yeah, I'm down with trying to post a Christmas song for the next 24 days!

Haha had to look it up and see what y'all were talking about. I only watched the first couple episodes of Homeland, Claire Danes' character just seemed too annoying to me

Ahmad Jamal - Snowfall

Vince Guaraldi Trio - Christmastime Is Here (instrumental & vocal)

My all time favorite Christmas song. I wanted to post some different stuff but I couldn't resist posting the Guaraldi stuff.

^ Damn you, I was saving those Vince Guaraldi ones! Instrumental's one of my fav too!

Trombone Shorty - Hurricane Season

One of 'Nawlins finest...

Ellis Marsalis - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Not only the family patriarch, but a patriarch for his city... Did you guys know Harry Connick Jr was a a student of his? Connick started as a wee lad with the Ellis... Ellis' version of Christmastime Is Here is great also, but I couldn't find it on youtube. If you're looking for a great jazz Christmas album, Ellis' “A New Orleans Christmas Carol is really nice.

Hope you all are doing well. I'm stuck in the library for the remainder of the day preparing for my last final exam of undergrad!

Louis Armstrong - Christmas in New Orleans

Cambridge Choir And Orchestra Of Clare College - Gabriel's Message

Along with Guaraldi's Christmas Time Is Here, this is my other all time favorite Christmas song. I know it's not jazz, but I had to post. I can listen to this all day on repeat. Just a beautifully haunting melody.

Thanks man, last day of studying and the test is tomorrow. Should find out if my internship will be able to hire me full time next week too.

I remember you posting Gabriel's Message last year and had to find it to download.

Not sure if this classifies as a Christmas song or not.

Bill Evans - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

Good luck about the internship too.

Aprreciate it. Still trying to make my way up to DC too. Will probably need a few more years of experience first, I was applying everywhere up there and didn't get any call backs

The Marsalis Family - Struttin' With Some Barbecue (Louis Armstrong cover)

Just stumbled across this. Eliis on piano, Branford on soprano sax, Wynton on trumpet, Delfeayo on the 'bone, & Jason on drums... :{ Talent is so deep in that family. Jason plays the xylophone too...

Jason playing an unidentified song with Marcus Roberts live.... Love the rhythm of the song. Love how he threw in some Bacharach's Say A Little Prayer in his solo...
