im glad that deal leaked... now dolan is definitely not going to let that trade go down and add mosgov just to spite the nets owner... adding mosgov to the trade was OD anyway so im glad the knicks keeping him

Yeah, because having Melo and Amare would not look appealing for a guy like CP3 in the off season, none whatsoever.
Chandler is a bench player, Gallo is a valuable guy but inconsistent (still young), and Felton is what he is, serviceable PG.

Melo is a top NBA player in the league, how often do those come around?

Giving up Felton, Galo, Chandler, Moz + 1st rder is pretty OD though. And that 1st rder is their own 2014 1st rder, not Minny's according to reports.

This considering NYK is the only team he'd agree to sign the extension with. So really, instead of paying pennies on the dollar in a trade, they're getting taxed. Hard

how exactly do the Knicks plan to sign any player like CP or DW once they have 2 max contract players on their team in Melo and Amare?

I'm amazed that Denver's FO was able to pit NY and NJ against each other in all of this so effectively. and please believe it's not the rookies doing this work, it's Stan and Bret, pulling the strings....
