No doubt they didnt do their job as well as they should have. But like I said, I fully expected Oregon to put up low points against this Auburn D. Regardless, after I've calmed down a little bit, I feel like blame goes on everyone equally. Kelly shouldn't have gotten Sweatervest-Conservative in the red zone, the defense should have stopped Dyer on the last UA drive, Thomas should have made better reads.

YES! Everytime we aired it out, it was a gain. Twice for huge, crucial gains. Like I said, Kelly got too conservative and it was at the exact wrong time. He tried making up for it with cute trick plays (which worked, amazingly enough).

I hope y'all are right, but I honestly think this was our only shot (next year maybe if we go undefeated). USC's gonna be back to prominence in a couple years, a longer conference schedule and non-BCS schools gaining more popularity wont help at all.

I also dont see another undefeated season in the near future

Cam Newton is a big, strong, talented kid with wondrous feet and a cannon of an arm. And while most people want to lazily compare all black athletes exclusively with black athletes and white athletes with whites, the guy Newton is most similar to in the NFL is probably Ben Roethlisberger -- except Newton is faster by a lot. The reports that A.J. Green, the Georgia receiver, ranks higher on some NFL draft boards than Newton is laughable. Talent evaluators sometimes over think these things, such as when they decide the Matthews boys should be passed over in favor of others who are supposedly more talented. Sure, right.

And Oregon's OL isn't going to change much next year. They are not going to get too much bigger because you can't run that style of offense w/ 300+ OL's across the board.
