after watching the replay, that pick 6 was on the rb as much as it was on gilbert ... i put it 100% on the coaching staff myself ... and lets not forget somedude named williams dropping that TD pass gilbert threw to him ... game would be 17-13 ... sad sad turn of events ...

Let me add a little perspective. Gilbert will take a lot of heat for this loss but I don't see it that way. First, I'm not a UT fan or Bama fan, I amjust reacting to what I see. The young man is a freshman with little to no game experience playing against the best D in the country in front of 100k peopleand millions across the country. You are lying to yourself if you wouldn't be a little nervous and played a little tight.
Say whatever you want about him, but if the WR Williams catches that ball in the end zone it is a 14-13 game with UT only down one. Simply put, the peoplearound Gilbert are not giving him a chance to succeed, coaching staff as well as the players on offense.
