alright my estimated date of arrival is tomorrow. I got the shipping confirmation from both Eastbay and UPS, however when i check the tracking number they havent done anything but create a label
So please eastbay, when do you plan on taking the seconds off your busy schedule to drop off my package?

you do know that big corporation dont drop off their packages.. UPS go to them and pick up the packages. even then the shipping status will not be updated until the UPS driver drop off your package and gets scanned at their facilities. check back after 8PM.

VVILL is correct. If your order status continues not to be updated, though, please PM us with your customer and order number so we can look into it.

I'm not going to lie, I was definitely disappointed with this shoe, but at the same time, the '06 Mars were no better or worse, so I'm sticking with these.

On a side note, my NDC order finally came in. I ordered at 5am on RD, and they just came in! Now that's some slow free shipping. I guess I was lucky because there's nothing to complain about. The left shoe had a slight hairline crease. But that's now a common factory flaw these days. They are so much better without the mars logo!

The previous Military IVs are widely understood to be among the worst quality JB retros of all time. Now, we have people opining for them.

You have the blind leading the blind on here. As Cold City said, people just piggy backing on others' attempts to pick apart the shoe because it makes them feel like they are OG or something.

Look, I'm not going to claim that this shoe is $160 shoe quality; it is not. But, it's not because of these tiny, tiny imperfections that so many of you struggle to find and then post pics of like there's some glaring error. What you guys complain about is evidence of your own noob-ishness. You just know that you're supposed to complain about something, but you don't know what, so you make up and guess... and you get all the wrong stuff.

The overall quality of the materials - all the materials - are vastly inferior to OGs and early retros. In most cases, the shape of the shoes is off. Those are the major issues.

They are going to get dirty and crease a bit when you - YELP - wear them! So, that is not really a problem. It's the construction and design of the shoe - the structural quality and integrity - not the aesthetics of it that is the true evidence of corner-cutting and the precipitous drop from premium material shoe to pseudo-plastic, disposable trash.

But, I don't really complain usually. Why? If I like the shoe enough to buy it, I'm voting with my wallet. Sometimes I accept an inferior product because I want it enough and sometimes I don't. If you're not going to be happy with them, don't buy them. Or return them. If you are keeping them, then don't really complain because it apparently isn't serious enough for you to forego them.

Simply amazing. I always get a good laugh in the JB forum.

Some of the revisionist history is comical.  When someone praises the quality of those Militaries from 06 I've seen it all.

Im happy with them... creases or no creases, I can care less about that BS. its a damn shoe. I do yard work in my shoes so it dont matter to me much.

My eastbay pair just came in, no complaints here. I was prepared for the worst and wasn't really looking forward to opening the box after all the horror stories. I'm really satisfied with mine, these are way better then the crappy mars. I really wanted to double up but with the hit and miss quality I'm just gonna be happy with 1 pair

both became precreased, and one shoe looked like that one someone posted a while back with all those creases near the inside wing towards the midsole..

i said before i wasn't gonna care if they came precreased, but looking at them now in person, and then realizing that I paid $160 for a pair of NDS looking shoes, debating if I should just return them. I haven't purchased a pair of Jordan's in about 7 years, and these had me a little excited— but now seeing what I bought, and that I paid a premium for these over the mars, I'm disappointed.

I'm nowhere near a sneakerhead as I used to be in High School, and I was planning on just wearing these and treating them as regular sneakers (word to Jerry Seinfeld), so I might just keep one pair and return the other. Not sure yet though.

to ease your pain you can look at it like this: "atleast i didn't pay over 200$ like some people have been on ebay/craigslist/ good friends, etc etc"

Well my pair from NDC came in to say. Sadly they are hella creased both shoes :\. What's worse is I go look at both pairs of my ds Cement IVs and they're flawless. I really like this c/w but debating whether to send back. Did ya'll get a discount code for complaining about the quality? Cuz I'll take a coupon code to ease my pain lol.

Just be patient. My tracking info was finally updated a few minutes ago. Scheduled to arrive Thursday. Hope these are on par with the pair I bought in store. If not, back they go.

If this is directed at me, I need to clarify three things.

One, I'm not defending the quality of the shoe. I'm saying I made a conscious decision to buy a subpar quality product because I wanted it badly enough. I'm being honest with myself. We all make decisions like this at various points in life. Have you ever taken a date to an "it" restaurant, even though the food isn't good? Have you ever purchased a brand of liquor whose brand recognition exceeds its quality at its price point? (Hint, you have. We've all done it at some point.)

Two, you returned your pair, correct? My criticism doesn't apply to you then. You did the right thing. You weren't satisfied, so you got your money back instead. ...You demonstrated that you have difficulty understanding the simple business transaction that is a product return, but in the face of that adversity you were still able to emulate a functioning member of society. You get a gold star.

Three, as for trying to sound OG, quite simply I'm in my 30s. I lived through all of these releases the first time around. That's not trying to sound like anything; that's simply an empirical fact.
