Anybody have tips on doing custom high 1s? My sister is an artist and has been wanting to paint a pair for a few months. I'm thinking about sending her Ying Yangs and Angelus paint to make RSBB's. Either those or Royal Toes.

Anybody have tips on doing custom high 1s? My sister is an artist and has been wanting to paint a pair for a few months. I'm thinking about sending her Ying Yangs and Angelus paint to make RSBB's. Either those or Royal Toes.

Mix the color with a lot of GAC-900 or something similar (I think half and half is usually the recommendation?) for the tongue and liner, properly remove the factory finish from the leather with acetone or a similar deglazer/preparer, and work in light coats for the best looking results.

Both of the Ying Yangs are a good base.

Vegas RTTG
amazing quality.
Jumpman on the tongue and heel but the quality and details make up for it.
Colorblocking and cw is great. Im surprised these havnt been retroed with NA and non RTTG branding
Also it has a leather tongue but doesnt bother me.

Spiderman aj1.
I love everything abput this shoe.

Like I said I dont own Chi's but I still have these from the original drop:
Patent leather aj1 Chi (mids)

These could probably use a sole swap. Feels deflated. I'll never let these babies go.
Lastly I HAD these:

With the jumpman on the tongue and heel. Wierd thing is the Knicks came put the same day and that got the og treatment but not these.
Anyways these were horrible and I couldn't stand looking at them anymore.

The Vegas RTTG 1's is one of the best retros to ever come out. That quality with the blocking and hits of gold and red are superb. People slept on that shoe BIG TIME. Amazing, amazing, sneaker.
