They were "released" via people commenting on an IG post of his, but most of the pairs were given out to friends & family. I would've loved a pair, too

I assume the pairs for sale would be peeps who got pairs through commentating.

They need a denim option. Brendan Dunne mentioned a Levis collab/NBY later this year or next year. I hope they offer the NBY option again as I missed out since I was on holiday at the time.

Although I actually misunderstood that JD pair & Escape pair being pretty much the same shoe except the tongue, you are correct and I guess I wasn’t only aware that JD pair had same shade of brown on its toe & heel, but also wasn’t aware the fact that the heel looks pretty much different on those JD-Escape…

I still wear my NBY patent leather pair I got a few years ago. Have yet to wear my corduroy pair.

Double post but after having linens on foot yesterday, 2018 hong kong on foot today, and IDs last week, these linens are steps above the others. More padding in the satin sockliner versus hong kong, better (but not perfect) overall shape that fits my foot better, and softer underfoot. I'm very very happy with em

Would you say the Linen's fit more tts? Also, one thing I hate about af's is the heel slippage, does that satin sockliner help with that?

There's a little bit of slippage on TTS but the extra padding helps with that. If you wear thicker socks you should be good.

They certainly broke in well after one wear. I threw them on again quick last night and they loosened up a bit. I'll prob lace up to the top eyelet next wear. But nah still fit the same as any af1. I size down half from my dunk/jordan 1/air max 1 size (11 in af1 instead of 11.5 in dunk/jordan 1/air max 1)
