TCU would get thrown around a bit back when OU was poking around at the B1G, and UT still wasn’t exactly sure what they wanted to do yet. But it was only ever as a partner for OU since the B1G didn’t want anything to do with OKST.

Even when they would get thrown around tho it was generally accepted the B1G would still probably prefer KU because of it’s AAU status.

Tech isn’t a top 200 school in America according to US News

Obviously those rankings are to be taken with a grain of salt, but Tech isn’t a highly respected academic institution at all

And Texas Christian does? :lol

Both schools aren't great academically but TCU is slightly better.
TCU is a considerably better academic institution than Tech.

Like... Tech's awful. :lol Tech here is where every dumb dumb from your high school goes to after they didn't get into Texas or A&M and their parents don't wanna pay for Baylor or TCU. :lol

😆 🤣 😂. Is Tech Community College Status?

Hope that this kid stays in the fold (and that there’s enough wins to keep him there) 🙏🏾

Best true tackle they’ve landed in 8 years

There are 129 FBS college football teams.

I would like to see a recruit “Cut 128 schools in 129 days”… the first half of which they haven’t talked to, never had interest in.

What is an actual “reasonable” buyout that a school/conference would be? I never know if that’s a lot or not or what schools have paid
$30-33MM would be insanely cheap. Might even negotiate it down to below that. But I think the GoR would probably mean their B1G revenue goes to the ACC for those years under contract…which would be brutal.

For comparison, Texas and OU were looking at around $80MM each for leaving the Big 12 early (plus some GoR fees on top of that). TAMU only paid like $10-15MM 10 years ago :lol (just to show how TV revenues have exploded since then)
