They HAVE TO.

You can't sit here every year and tell us how much conference titles mean as you arbitrarily move the goal posts from week to week and then say "ehhhh not sure that means anything" with regards to expansion.

People are idiots.
They be going out of their way to make this expansion **** more complicated than it should be, taking all this time and still cant figure out the simple **** :smh:

Go to 8…power 5 conference winners, 1 from the rest and 2 at larges…1st round on campus or wherever the higher seeded team wants to play and then the usual set up after that

I don't even think you guarantee 1 G5.

Five P5 champions, three at-large from there. It's not hard.

Still think the end game needs to be P5 and G5 split titles/playoffs. Long-term that makes the G5 more money than the current setup anyways.

They want to make sure they can get 3 SEC teams in. Can't do that with 8.

Love the 1st round at home site idea.

And damn, Adrian Martinez still has eligibility?? Dude has been in college for like 8 years it seems.

Addazio is Outta there. LFG. Scum needed to be fired last year.

Nah our 2007 team didn't deserve it. Our 2006 and 2008 teams did though. Especially considering our in season point differential and what we did to Michigan and Illinois in those rose bowls

Man the people around here in Champaign really thought they had a chance in that game :lol

Community question only, y'all think Marcus Freeman's family made it easier for him to hired as HC?

Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Oklahoma needs to get on with this nonsense :lol :

UPDATE: Am now told that university personnel and Campus Corner merchants have been alerted to prepare in accordance with a forthcoming announcement.
******
UPDATE: Have now heard from two different sources, one of which is very well-placed, that it appears OU could announce this hire during the basketball game tonight. Figured I would pass that along.
Please take note that the operative word there is "announce," not "introduce." The word "introduce" has not been used by those sources I've spoken with.

Starting a new thread because the old one has gotten pretty cumbersome. I was told this morning by a source that the City of Norman was instructed to prepare for the new coach’s arrival today. Take that for what it’s worth, but it’s yet another indication that the Sooners are close to announcing their next head coach.

You're 12-0 with Stetson Bennett as your QB. Yes, it's a ****ing down year. You're 2007 Ohio State with Todd Boeckman

They didn't give up more than 17 points in any games either (except the 28 Juice Williams dropped on them lol)
So because the mailman had to take over for yall sending us that walking injury it's our fault and it's a down year lol
Noted
