Is paying him $5mill a year really the best they can do right now? Feel like letting the season play out would given them better options.

He's a good coach and they were obviously desperate.
Getting 3, 4, 5 coaches into your list and then still having to probably overpay aggressively to land a guy...
You couldn't get Narduzzi to leave Pitt or Luke Fickell to leave Cincinnati for five-and-a-half million dollars? Jesus. Something's not right.
AbsolutelyCulture issue?
In Urban Meyer's wake? No way.Culture issue?
If you have followed anything MSU for the past 2 years, everything has been sloppy from the top down... Why would this be any different??? Too many people pulling in different directions and looking out for themselves.
yeah, Armond exploits kids. Thats all he cares about. Makes a great living doing it too. He'd be taking a pay cut going to USC.****ty why? Because he gives off a kinda exploitative vibe?

Greg Biggins on Miller Moss v. Jake Garcia: "Moss is a more talented player and that will be reflected in our next rankings. Among their peers in the area, you won't find anyone who likes Garcia more, my guess is if Moss does commit there, I could see Garcia opening things up."
"Moss is kind of the 'people's champion' and most respected among his peers and local coaches. He's the one both MD and Bosco went after this off-season to replace Bryce and DJ. He's so dang smart, on par with say Bryce Young in terms of being chalk board savvy and being able to process things and think the game. Has the quickest release out west and probably the best deep ball accuracy. I'd give Garcia a slight edge in terms of velocity and he has a better frame, bigger kid with more room to grow. They're both great kids but with Miller playing for Premium the last couple of years, he's the guy a lot of the local kids rally around."
casper90403 you were on this way before him.
Should it? He only had $3.1 million assistant pool there. MSU is doubling that. Are things really that bad at CU? On paper that job should probably be better than MSU.
Is Alfano going to stick around now?
No... Its everywhere... There is a lot of evil and entitled people today, just happens that "media" has so many platforms to air it out onThe big 10 is a weird place

I would imagine NFL is a better bet than retirement... He also doesn't stand up on his high horse like Urban did.Wouldn't be surprised if Ryan Day starts having health issues and wants to start spending time with his family soon.

Tucker coached at MSU and coached in the Cleveland/Ohio area for ten years. It makes sense as a move. Colorado also, realistically, probably has a ceiling that MSU has already shown it can surpass. He can also probably recruit more easily to MSU than he will be able to at CU. He's not going to beat out UT/TAMU for Texas kids and this was the only year he was gonna beat out SC/UCLA for west coast kids. Are things really that bad at CU? On paper that job should probably be better than MSU.

Nah he’s still young. Was born in 79, the year before Georgia won their last national title
Colorado is a train wreck financially.
