There are smarter hires out there for them, but considering the circumstances I don't think Bert would be an awful hire.

The fan base would definitely hate it though.

Dolphins trying to trade up to grab Joe Burrow. Do the Bengals take an injured Tua at #2 if Miami’s decides they’re not willing to?

Bunch of sites reporting that Burrow is trying to discourage the Bengals from taking him dacomeup dacomeup

The Dolphins, who have 4 playoff appearances this millennium, are somehow being seen as a better franchise than the Bengals, who've made 5 straight playoffs in the last decade alone. Mike Brown isn't trading the pick. All other convo is pointless.

His own dad said this:
"He's excited to even be in that conversation and if the Bengals do draft him, he's going to be happy," Jimmy Burrow told the Canadian radio affiliate.

Slow news week.

Personally I’m waiting for USC to **** it up and have him change his mind

Is your program trash if several coaching candidates turn the job down? Sounds like Tennessee 2.0

No AD in place at MSU so what coach would want to commit to that??? Also, what AD wants to deal with the President and the BOT that aren't helping the school lately??? Tough spot but the school isn't helping their cause and the job isn't as awful as many want to believe..m Mark gave you the blueprint but he was too stubborn to fire friends

Donte Williams made $450k? Thats not bad. I thought he was in the low $200k for some reason.

Is it just me or was Michigan being historically bad a not insignificant part of that blueprint?

They won a lot of other games in that time... Michigan not having a real plan for when Carr was going to step down was a part of Sparty success but those first 8-9 years of MD fielded some good teams that played a tough style of football.

Imagine negative recruiting a school and convincing kids from that town that the school is terrible and they should move to ******* Eugene, Oregon, just to turn around and sign a multi year deal with that school literally 4 days later.

If these kids don’t start to wise the **** up

atlsfinest atlsfinest insiders now saying Georgia was trying to poach Donte too. You guys have an opening on D?

How much Donte getting in this new deal?
Dual position coach x coordinator title so at least $700k I imagine. No brainer for a dream job he already wanted in his hometown. Huge coup to snatch him from Oregon and the SEC too.

And are just a few years removed from making the playoff, crazy to think about
