As the season goes on the narrative of Kawhi staying will become louder and louder. This was always going to happen the second they traded for him as long as they played well enough. Which is what the Raptors were banking on. But he's still going to leave.

I forgot to include Issac but yes, he'd have to be in that as well. The real fruit of that trade would be the unprotected pick + Issac. Worth it for Wall at this stage, IMO.

I will say though that as long as Toronto keeps looking the way they have been with him,they'll be in good position to keep him. He's got his own squad with him as the guy that's got as good a chance at going to the Finals as anywhere outside of the Bay area. Raps fans are already giving him the Gawd treatment too,he's got a good thing going atm

I mean he actually demanded that though, no? he just didnt get traded to where he wanted to go. I still think the narrative him going to where he said he wanted to go is stronger than the one of him staying where he didnt want to go.

I think you mean Don McClean. He’s the guy who works out with draft prospects in the Summer. Mike Smith was Ralph’s partner 3 years ago and got fired. As far as I know, Mike Smith doesn’t do any draft prep.

Yea I don't know how much weight I'd put behind rumors that were coming out during the summer before dude actually even stepped foot in Toronto
. He doesn't look like an unhappy guy being held against his will rn...Really doubt that playing for the Clips would bring anywhere near the professional and competitive fulfillment an elite athlete like him desires. The Lakers is another story but can't ever seem him and Bron ever rocking together in the same squad. It might be what his Uncle might want but Kawhi is a grown *** man that can make his own decisions
