Emphasis on playing faster, shot distribution and the rule change to favor offense

Another take I heard that could be true is that coaches may be trying to switch more with personnel that isn't capable
Also true lol BB tryna employ a switch everything defense and we getting washed

Tired of seeing Simmons driving it and then Pick up his dribble and looking to pass. Doesn't even bother to try to score. All these dumb turnovers. These one handed hook shots ain't it chief. My mans haven't improved any facet of his game all summer.

Stopped once I moved to Texas

No lie, the one time I drank sink water was during spring break one year when we went to South Padre Island. I woke up dehydrated as **** one morning and my mouth was so dry. Checked the fridge and we were all out of water, turned around to the sink and started guzzling it down. Boy did I come to regret this.

I was out of commission for almost 3 days. Never again.

I only considered the rule change but not the other two factors, the first of which might be because of the rules.

I’ve saw Kyrie on Blake too many times this game man

I've been trying to watch across the league to see if this is the case. 7 or 8 of the top 10 defensive teams during the regular season last year did not play a switching defense

Houston and GSW were just ridiculously versatile that allowed them to play that way. On the flip side those are the only two teams that offensively will make you pay for having a drop big

More All Star Game scores. What's up this year?

1 - New Freedom of Movement rule puts defenders at a disadvantage + results in more FT's
2 - Shot clock resets to 14 on offensive rebounds = more possessions
3 - Every team is playing at faster paces than in the past
4 - Continued increase of shooting + decrease of post ups

Coaches are mimicking the best of the league and trying their hand. In theory more possessions actually makes more sense regardless

For Simmons, it's ok to not have a 3pt shot ala Giannis, but you gotta drive or shoot in the key, mans is a point forward so he should be able to out maneuver his defenders or shoot over undersized defenders

It's the Raptors' year

Edit: Also, Kawhi is staying. When's the last time waiting to sign a star in free agency worked?

Yeah. His shooting is not the "problem". It's a limitation he's always had and always will have. Similar to younger Rondo. In order for him to be at his best, you have to surround him with shooting + another playmaker. That's supposed to be Fultz. He gets away with bulling into the paint despite the defense sagging....but it's less effective against good defensive teams.

Philly is the one team that Jimmy Butler actually solves alot of problems for.
