As dense as you are, I think even you can agree that EVERYONE has some sort of bias. No matter who you put in there, they are going to be biased towards something/someone.
Knew you’d like that part.
But the point is Bill Simmons doesn’t know the game to the extent that he’d like people to think and players call him out on this al of the time.
Obviously everyone is a bit compromised but Simmons bias is egregious, and it’s compounded by the fact that he doesn’t really know the game in a way that allows him to have a say so on an award with so much historical significance.
The case for Denver shortening their rotation is that the game slows down in the playoffs and you have to let your best 7-8 cook. It’s a game of rhythm.
I forgot who but a coach was talking about how Pop shortened his rotations on a team in the playoffs and it won him the series.
