Comparing someone to LeBron coming into the league is something that will continue to happen but should never happen. LeBron is the goat prospect and what he did as a prospect is pretty unattainable. Not to mention he will always be the first to do what he’s done.

I don't think anything you said is farfetched, I could see it, the offensive stuff is just a little too much for me to overcome. We're talking about the #1 pick, who at 6'6 280 can't shoot, and has a basic package w/the ball. I'll say this: He's way more of a wildcard to me than what people suggest IMO. He's not a slam dunk prospect to me, not in a league where playmaking and guard play is almost everything.
I don't really think there are any slam dunk prospects in this draft, but I will rock with Zion's physical attributes and motor all day.

Don't see him as a franchise cornerstone, but I think he's going to be a really productive player from Day 1.

I looked all over the place and haven't seen any legit source mention an ACL other than trolls and fakes. I'm guessing amel got fooled by this fake Adam Schefter account.

I think Zion will be able to protect the rim too. Him being a full time 5 is tricky but he’s got better shot blocking numbers than bags, Collins, and Draymond in college

See I don’t think he’ll be handling the ball. He’s a 4/5. If the Bulls draft him, he’s going to eat next to Lauri and Otto, provided they get Boylen out the paint

Giannis like, play him at the 5, go 5 out, let him go downhill and put shooting around him w/like Otto and Lauri, that could work too. I don't hate him as a prospect, just not in love w/the idea of drafting his type and make up as the #1 overall pick.

Zion still goes 1. Torn ligaments or whatever.
He’s gunna be a stud.

We don’t have to compare him to Lebron but if this kid isn’t the truth than nobody ever will be.

Who else is there though with less glaring deficiencies

I think he can be productive from day 1, but it'll depend on what team he goes to, and whether or not that team conforms to his strengths.

Generational athlete and motor is worth the risk, I agree w/that. But people talk about Zion like a can't miss prospect, and that's where I kind of cringe at.

But I don't hate him as a prospect, just not in love w/him.

What happenes go WCjr in this scenario

Play them both. Probably similar to the WCS/ Bagley rotation.

Carter jr was a fouling machine before he got hurt so it might play itself out. If you play Zion and WCJ together, still play Zion as the dunker. I need to see if Zion can guard on the perimeter full time though.

just from his reaction and the way he literally walked off the court with that much weight on a torn muscle, i dont think its a torn ACL

You're right on the money w/this, and relative to his draft class, he's easily the best prospect that you'd take, but people are calling him the next Lebron, the best prospect, since MJ, I seen that his floor was Blake griffin,

that's wild.

I’m not seeing him creating like that off the bounce. If he’s got a great playmaker like Trae, he should eat as a roll man.

He’d struggle as a Knick unless they get the FAs.
Bulls don’t have a great playmaker.
If he’s dealt to the pelicans, jrue and Gentry could make him look good.
Phoenix, see Chicago

I just don't see anybody else in this class that I'd rather have, or project to be better than him.

I feel like he's just a dude that's going to be extremely valuable to a team. Duke has 2 other top 5 prospects on the floor and look what happened to their team without Zion tonight. Train wreck.

Random, but what do you guys think of the state of high school basketball evaluation as it pertains to NBA prospects?

This is kind of crazy. Then you look at the top 10 of draft classes from like 2010 to now, it's wild.
