Franchise changing talent is a bit of a subjective term, but what if he brings incredible energy to a team like PHX and immediately levels them up? Is that considered franchise changing? I don't personally see him as an All-NBA first team guy, but suped up Draymond isn't out of the realm of possibility, IMO. Draymond was a team's best player in a 7 game NBA Finals series. If I can get something like that, I'm cool.

The top 100 lists are based on your high school resume, not your pro potential though. Plus only 60 guys are drafted every year and a quarter of them are foreign.

Not for the top players imo. Maybe for the no names who are the leading scorers in North Dakota or something like that. Top players are all potential.
Looking at most drafts in general, you'll be lucky there are more than 2-3 all stars.

Which is why I've given up trying to prospect his path on the next level. He's a 1/1. I see the red flags from conventional perspective, but I'm of the belief that the sheer will he imposes on the game isn't going to disappear as a pro.

From a size standpoint, there is no comparison. Overall impact and skillset is where I see it.
But I agree, you're hoping for that 2nd/3rd best player on a winning team, and I think he'll have that type of impact.
