Damn, the cotton bowl? I wanted to go to Arizona instead of Texas. I might have to stay and watch from home now

You think tOSU is better? Did you hear Saban speak? Whether it’s true or not, he said no one would play them and he’s all for playing more conference games or P5 teams only playing P5 teams. If anything, the committee went against the grain IMO.

Cotton Bowl? witnesskb24
They’ll never find a team to play them that late in the year. I think all the other conferences are playing conference games that week. I can’t slight them with their OOC scheduling, they usually always have at least one good OOC game to start the year. Same with Ohio State. The bad thing is sometimes those teams end up sucking and then it makes them look bad
I mean, what other reason why the team that finished 5th in the B1G would get in that game?I can’t wait to hear all off season how Michigan got into a meaningless bowl game over them because of its brand.
I don’t disagree. Wouldn’t have been surprised to see either in. I agree the Iowa loss did them in. Personally, I think if they lined up today, Alabama would beat them. But most people thought the same in the ‘14 season, too. They way they lost their 2 is just hard for me to get past, personally.
Either way, it was lined up to be a great playoff regardless if tOSU or Bama got in.
Btw, are the rest of the bowl selections being broadcasted?
I think they’re just scrolling them on the ticker. Might be able to find a list on ESPN website

No, I don’t disagree that it’s the reason.
Just that bowl games are ****ing meaningless and it’s an incredibly dumb thing to ***** about, which is precisely what MSU is going to do.
You can't act like Michigan fans wouldn't whine if the situation was reversed, because you KNOW they would
I agree about this being meaningless, though. We get the "better" team even if the game is "less" prestigious. I can't really be too upset about it.
For like a month they would
you guys drag out slights for a whole offseason and then come up with conspiracy theories instead of accepting the obvious.
gonna be a great game. Coin toss type of game. We're getting healthy.Yes sirs. I thought it would be fiesta but looks like cotton. How are y’all feeling about the game?
gonna be a great game. Coin toss type of game. We're getting healthy.
you guys are physical. Will give us plenty of issues.I just hope we can slow down Darnold or pressure him into a few turnovers. How is you guys defense against QBs that can’t throw?
I do hope we can get the W, I don’t think we’ve beaten y’all since like 74?
Mannnn don't start on conspiracies Your whole fanbase has convinced themselves that the B1G commish has it out for you guys, and that that's the reason why the refs are "screwing" you over in every big game that Michigan hasn't been able to win. Y'all still whinning about the refs from the OSU/Michgan game from LAST year
TCU in the Alamo bowl against Stanford
Talk bout a home game
Sure that **** is stupid, but at least it’s about **** that matters. Officiating in this league is atrocious, and Michigan not getting calls is not because the B1G has something out against the school ( if they had their way Michigan and OSU would be 11-0 going into the game every year) it’s because administrators think giving a guy 20M a year to add teams like Rutgers to league is more important than full time officials.
Complaining about a missed Sugar Bowl birth for 2 years does not.
