Noel + Extra for Otto.

Do it Hinkie...I mean...oh...Colangelo...nvm

I'd do this if I was the Wizards because Otto bout to get the max, Oubre waiting in the wings and I think Noel's value has dropped.

Wizards have less leverage if they think Otto will leave. No way Sixers take on Mahimi's contract if they are going to pay Otto max money. $15 mil/ year for a third string center who will play behind Jojo and Jah.

To that point, are there any indications that Otto is out?

They're gonna pay Otto the max when they already have Covington and Saric who they plan to play at the 3? No thanks.

This should be interesting
The NBA is introducing significant changes to its All-Star balloting procedures that will give players and members of the basketball media a say, alongside fans, in voting for All-Star starters.

Fans will continue to account for 50 percent of the vote total for All-Star starters, with players and a panel of media members accounting for 25 percent each.
Yeah this is a bad idea. This is a nonsense basketball game, adding a level of serious polling to it just takes away from the fun of it.

Kobe getting a start is funny, Vince Carter getting that start is funny, Zaza getting all those votes is funny.

A Designated Player may be eligible to earn 30% of the salary cap (rather than the standard 25%) if he passes certain criteria. To be eligible, the player must be voted to start in two All-Star Games, or be named to an All-NBA Team twice (at any level), or be named MVP. Officially titled the "5th Year 30% Max Criteria",[13] it has been dubbed (and is more commonly known as) the "Derrick Rose Rule" after the 2011 MVP,[14] due to the fact that when the criterion was introduced, Rose was the only player in the NBA eligible to sign the maximum extension (due to his MVP award)
It's not nonsense when there are incentives involved.

Totally forgot about the Derrick Rose rule.

AD met the all-star criteria but missed the all-nba part.

Only suited up for 61 games. PG & LMA beat him out for 3rd team.

Tough :smh:.

How pissed is Dame going to be if he's left off again this year?

He's gonna get left off if the Blazers are sub .500

Reminds me of all those years Al Jefferson was putting up baller all-star numbers but was always snubbed because his teams were absolute trash

What would you guys do if you were the Sunset GM.

They don't get talked about a ton. They don't suck, but are not good imo.

Giannis 4th in the league in BPM.

Ahead of Lebron, KD, Steph, Draymond, Kawhi and Jimmy Butler. :x

1st in Defensive BPM. ::nerd:

Trading knight for future assets should be their top priority. See how their youngsters improve and continue to build through the draft. No need to rush at this point since they don't have a corner stone player yet. Booker is the closest thing but is still very young. Bledsoe can continue to make the sun's entertaining enough to sell tickets.
