so whats the narrative after klay plays 5 more mins and scores 83?
any player not disrespected by 55pts hung on him in 2.5 quarters isn't gonna be disrespected y 60+
it was a 20+ point game early in the third. at what point should sportsmanship kick in?

I think the injury factor is overblown in these situations. If anything they'll just start double teaming him. They didn't try to injure Kobe as the game started to get outta hand against Toronto. There's too much respect for each other's livelihoods. Besides this Era is even more soft.

The kobe game only happened because the game was close 90% of the game. He was killing u but u still could've won the game. If they were up 40 then who knows what would've happen. It's always overblown until it happens. I honestly was shocked klay was still out there at the end of the 3rd. U can tell Kerr was being nice and letting him get it before he pulled him.

honestly shocked considering depth (+ injuries) were the biggest concerns going into the season. fizdale really is putting in work on developing our guys.
zbo should be back tomorrow then VC later this week. ennis/parsons next week. conley walking around like nothing wrong with him, so maybe he returns sooner than we think

Klay is the second greatest 3pt shooter behind Curry. Not surprised honestly. The dude gets hot like this all the time where he just explodes in a quarter or a half.
Now that Curry and KD on the floor, 2 shot creators, efficient facilitators, and threats from anywhere on the court that just makes Klay even more of a threat going forward.

nah. warriors dogged those boys. they had 80 at half time, 30 point lead.
I always said if anybody were to come close to breaking 70 points again... It would be Harden, Durant, or Klay (ever since 37 in 1 quarter)
But I'm seeing a lot of Kobes name being brought up for comparison. All I gotta say is it's no comparison. Klay still had 2 of the most efficient shooters and scorers on the floor with him.
Which means guys still had to cover them and not leave them open.
Kobe on the other hand was the ONLY scorer on his team. Which means teams were able to double, triple team him because there was nobody else that could score.
When Kobe scored 81, 62 in 3, hell even when he scored 56 in 3 against Memphis. He was the only scorer on his team. Yet he found away to get his shot off and score. I remember Kobe dropping 55 in ONE HALF!
I know Kobe is retired so he's forgotten now. But let's not get carried away!
