On this subject, case and point, look at how much bread Harry Giles is going to miss out on. He was the number 1 prospect in the country. Dude may not even go lottery now given the injuries/struggles to come back from them and acclimate to Duke's system.

Speaking of HS stars that flamed out. I wonder what happened to Sebastian Telfair? I remember seeing the Washington Post calling this guy the next Lebron.

Shoe don't be airing our dirty laundry in here man.

Damn, so with the extensions to Randle/Russell/Ingram in the coming years, the Lakers are basically tied up financially because they inked.....

Timofey Mosgov and Luol Deng...

Welp

Dudes were trying to defend those signings bruh. Jimmy and Mitch basically sealed their own fates. Only way to get rid of them will require them to move a young asset with those terrible contracts. They've ****** us with no lube on the way out. Hopefully Magic and Jerry West (assuming the rumors about his return are accurate) can use their relationships to finesse somebody.

How long do we really give D'Lo. I'm no expert but if he doesn't make a significant jump next year, it might be time to explore other options.

Lmao idk if anyone will with what he got paid. Sure he's good still, but for that money when it was obvious Ingram was gonna be 1 or 2 in the draft? Very confusing

if not deng and Mozgod

youd still be complaining about the bloated contracts of "insert name here "

No I actually wouldn't because I would think since they did it the past two years after missing out on the marquee guys they'd sign guys to 1 year deals like before. And not tie up our cap going forward. As a matter of fact I specifically remember multiple page arguments echoing that same sentiment as soon as the Mozgov signing was announced.

How long do you give D'Lo? Man D'Lo has been pretty good. Laker fans are too harsh on him IMO. He's like 20, 21 years old and you can clearly see that he'll be at the very least, a good player. He isn't who I would worry about tbh.

Valid. I could be expecting too much looking at all these other great PGs the league has now. And he is young. I could be letting that phone thing with Uncle P cloud my judgement. With the PGs in this draft though, I wouldnt be surprised if the Lakers don't go after one.
