where do u come up with this stuff?

what legit center would u trade for an undersized combo guard?

Kaman is available, i don't know what the Clips want. Thabeet is available. I also said or get a shooting guard, heck we could go after a small forward and move dorrell to the off guard spot. Iggy was available at the beginning of the year, so was granger. Obviously I don't know exactly whose available and at what price b/c i cant call up the teams.

My point is that if a team isnt winning they need at least one of the following:
1. cap space
2. talent they can move for players
3. picks they can move for talent.

You ask what do i want the warriors to do? i want them to make a move. If no one wants Monta then the teams does not have any of the 3 points i just mentioned above. He seems to be the only trade-able asset (besides curry, which i think we should keep for the long term), I refuse to believe we cant get anything in return for him that will help the team. If we actually can't get any value for Monta the team is doomed to be the 10th best team in the west for a long time, and possibly the 8th seed every now and then.

I'd like to think that, but the latest blog post at SFGate, stated they would try to flip Murphy for another draft pick. Interesting, why the W's simply wouldn't want to keep him here for the remainder of his contract and help off the bench. We know for sure he can space the floor and play more aggressively than Biedrins.

The two choices for Murphy is either trade him to a contender for a draft pick or buyout his contract and let him handle his own business.
CJ003, I do see your point, since that 1st round pick probably wouldn't be protected with the way the Warriors are playing...I do not believe they will end up with a top 7 pick. But, looking over the standings with Denver, Utah, and Memphis...The Warriors could make a push for the 8th if they make a deal to bolster they're bench. Although, it doesn't seem likely.

Essentially, the Warriors traded two guys they don't use for a second-round pick and Jeff Adrien, a player they're likely to pluck from the NBA Development League, according to team sources.

The Warriors are hoping to further move Murphy and his $12 million expiring contract for another second-round pick. In all likelihood, none of Boston, Dallas, Miami or Orlando will bite and instead wait to sign Murphy for the league minimum after te the Warriors buy out the forward.

Riley's done okay the past years or so. Wright signing was great, the Lee deal, drafting Udoh and Curry. If they can't find someone better I wouldn't be too bummed if he stayed. Maybe he has some last minute deal in the works before tomorrow ends..

He isn't the best GM out there, but I felt he did an okay job cleaning up the mess that was created by Rowell. Now, we're set up in a position where we can compete, and with a few tweaks, we might be building something...

His contract is terrible, but I don't think it's really that bad. It's a definite upgrade over anything we've had at PF in a long time, sure he has his flaws but I think it was a good deal. And with Randolph not looking very good the deal looks better. It would have been nice to get someone tougher of course...I think he'd look better if we had someone better than Biedrins at C though.
