^ I guess Brewer's gonna be bought out tomorrow. So JJ and who? Kinda mad we missed out on Barron.

so now brewer's departure isn't confirmed? who started the rumor that he was gonna be cut/bought out in the first place?
Azubuike told me last week he was 80 percent. With little time left in season, no chance for him to play. Knicks had to move on for spot.

I have no doubt that Donnie wasn't shopping those guys. I'm sure he couldn't get the bigs he wanted for those guys or any bigs at all or a backup pg. So the only reasoning left is to check the waiver wire or keep them. With the guys Donnie's probably targeting I'm sure they would be more a help than what we have.Originally Posted by SIRIUS LEE HANDSOME

whether him or azubuke, the knicks could've at least thrown one of those two in with mason for a big(ger) guy before the trade deadline
how do you finally figure out azubuike is no good for the team less than a week after the trade deadline? we really could've gotten someone in exchange or used him in a package deal. you let him linger on the team, spend resources to bring him back to health and then just let him go for nothing in return?
none of us are there to see practices or whatever, but azubuike has been a good player and to just cut him like that seems crazy
Off season trade pieces. Good locker room guys. Works in progress (that goes for players 12-15 like Rautins and Mozgov were) Good for practice, teaching, influence?Originally Posted by SIRIUS LEE HANDSOME
why is mason on this team if we're not going to use him at all?
why do we have any players on this team if we're not going to utilize them in any way???
can someone explain this?
An empty roster spot after the deadline to sign players so they can be eligible for the playoofs would be unacceptable since it's not like we'd be saving a lot of money by cutting these guys.Originally Posted by DubA169

The Knicks spent much of the weekend deciding how they'd open roster spots. They told potential free agents they would have room by Tuesday.

My bad. Shelden Williams is the obvious candidate to go. Renaldo Balkman is second followed by Azubuike, Mason and Brewer.
This n_ is a troll
you're probably right, but having good "lockeroom guys"doesn't mean much at this point imo. it's like the equivalent of moral victoriesOriginally Posted by ATGD7154xBBxMZ

Good locker room guys was just an answer to the question overall. Of course it doesn't matter in the playoffs. But yeah yours and my guesses are as good as anybody else. I'm lost on why certain guys are still here.Originally Posted by SIRIUS LEE HANDSOME

it's just weird as a fan to not know what and why

Why not? Rautins has been an "empty spot" practically all year. He's just there to keep Landry laughingOriginally Posted by Al3xis
I don't think there is anyway we go down the stretch run with an empty spot.
