Seriously? If you shoot someone enough times till he drops, chances are he's probably gonna die. One bullet is enough to kill a man, stopplaying CS and snap back to reality.

The other man was hit in the upper arm and was in serious but stable condition. Both remained hospitalized at UCI Medical Center Thursday.

The officer sustained a serious head wound in the alleged assault. He was released from the hospital Thursday morning.

The identities of the officer and the shooting victims were not immediately released.

Their relatives returned to the stadium Thursday morning to pick up the men's truck and to briefly accuse the officer of starting the whole fight.

Sandy Bustamante, who identified herself as the sister-in-law of one of the wounded men, told KTLA the officer initiated the confrontation with racial slurs directed toward the two men.

She also said the men are brothers from [color= rgb(255, 0, 0)]Ontario[/color], one of whom is a U.S. Marine.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office will investigate the incident along with the Anaheim Police Department, as is required for officer-involved shootings.

The Angels had beaten the Colorado Rockies 11-3 earlier in the evening.

The shooting was the third violent incident at a Southern California ballpark this season. A man died two days after getting into a fight on opening day at Angel Stadium in April. Another man was stabbed multiple times at the Dodger's home opener, but he survived.

The Anaheim Police Department was asking for witnesses of Wednesday's incident to call (714) 765-1944.

i just threw out a number why is everyone examining it with a microscope. my point was you can shoot the guy to the point where you are sure he's not athreat and be set rather than hitting them in the head. the guys were unarmed anywho.

a couple of rounds until he drops? that is called catching a body. it is the same intent as shooting someone in the head

Yes, the officer was justified in the shooting, he took the proper steps according to the report. These two fools didn't back down.

Obviously you guys have no insight on the criminal justice system....This is a huge subject in my criminal justice classes. You can use equal force in yourconfrontations...if he felt threatened for his life or his families life then yes he was justified to shoot rather you hoodrats want to believe it or not. Iknow not liking cops is the cool thing to do, you love when they protect you and hate them when you get caught doing something wrong, but he was right. I thinkif you were with your family and two thugs came and tried to attack you, you would use whatever force it takes to protect you and your family.

Obviously if he needs to pull out of his gun, he needs to put them down anyway possible. Who cares about these thieves anyway? Why be humane to them? Why letthem live another day so that they can have the chance to go rob someone else? If they're killed, it's freeing up more space at the jail and less taxmoney to be dealing with.
