I was watchin the video for Boyz II Men "Motownphilly", then fell into the YouTube rabbit hole w/ "4 Seasons of Loneliness", Brandy ft. Wanya Morris "Brokenhearted", Aaron Hall "I Miss You", then stopped before I wasted hours listening to music.
 
Seems like alot of R&B cats had some serious issues.R kelly only being attracted to teenage girls.People in the Chi said he was doing it waaaaay before he got caught.Benet being a sex addict.I remember the rumors about Tevin years ago.Didnt know if it was true.I seen the recent released pictures online.That was taken from Michael Jacksons house for evidence.He had regular pictures of kids.I wasnt suprised by that.Because he was fascinated by holding on to his child hood.They say some of the drawings/paintings he had was of kids being half dressed.That was odd.But the wild stuff my man Mj was on was BDSM.That shocked me.He had pictures of woman tied up,bound,etc.Some of the pictures they released.Some of the pictures they didnt release.Because they where sexually explicit.I seen a interview with Marvin Gayes manager.He said they where overseas doing shows/recording.He said Marvin told him to go through his things to find something specific he needed.Marvin didnt go with him.The manager found pictures/books of women being tied up/tortured.Basically BDSM.He said he was mad at Marvin and confronted him about it.He said Marvin didnt hide it,and felt like nothing was wrong with it.He said he had to break it down to him why its bad.To want to do those type of things to women.They say Marvins dad was abusive to him when he was younger.And that his dad use to be a cross dresser.From the Bow Wow and B2K allegations/rumors.I think its some crazy stuff these cats been exposed to early in there life.Theres a thin line between crazy and genius.

I'm from the Chi and R. Kelly has been messing with young girls for years. He got in trouble for messing with a underage girl back in 1989-1990 but it got swept under the rug. He also used to roll around the high schools looking for young tenderonis :x:smh: Also, if you listen to his song that he had with Public Announcement called "She's Got That Vibe", he has a line that says "Aaliyah's got that vibe". But yeah, alot of these R&B cats have serious issues. Marvin Gaye used to make people sleep with his wife so she could tell him about their sexual encounters. He also used to walk around with a strap on because he felt that his manhood wasnt adequate. And he was seriously addicted to drugs and porn.

This thread really makes me miss the Midnight Soul and Video Soul shows on BET. You could hear really good music on those shows

A lot of those names represent the females he knew at the time. His mom was the first name he shouted out.
 
She's Got That Vibe and Honey Love get mad spins today like they just came out. R. Kelly my favorite artist of all time, fight me.


I need a Shai documentary or UnSung. Give me a Silk one and Soul for Real. All these groups had huge hits and first albums and then just disappeared. Shai's second album had joints yo.
