  don't you already have a kid or 3??? why so many pets??

As long as there isn't too much cat hair everywhere, or a patio area, I may be able to survive it :wow:

One kid. We have a big patio. In the back yard by the pool. The cats stay away from there for the most part, so you'd probably be ok.

It's funny to me that someone can't see the distinction between playing odds/betting on patterns of a sport and having a working knowledge of said sport.

"I know how to beat the triangle because I accurately bet on the last 3 champs."

Yeahno.
Except anybody who's actually successful knows more about the game than almost anyone else.

If it was that simple, every math wiz would be killing Vegas but they're not.
So why not parlay that intricate, extensive, thorough knowledge into being a coach or gm?
Because some guys make 7 figures a year watching and betting on a sport that they love.

Not everybody has aspirations to be a coach or a GM.

There are certainley some guys that do have GM aspirations, tho.

There are no bad dogs. Only bad owners.
this is true

too many people have no idea how to properly train a dog

still nothing.

all this "successful betting" but you have no idea why

stop being a sheep and actually learn the sport so that your opinions can actually be worth discussing
It's kind of silly to think that somebody who wages money on the sport successfully doesn't know the sport.

This is funny though, carry on.
It's funny to me that someone can't see the distinction between playing odds/betting on patterns of a sport and having a working knowledge of said sport.

Would've been better had you posted about 20 seconds sooner.

So do you make 7 figures a year? Don't piggyback off of the successes of others when your whole mockery is predicated on your own success off of your intricate basketball knowledge.

Forget 'some guys'; do you make 7 figures?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...-guy-who-yells-at-cameramen-for-lebron-james/
You may have heard that LeBron James got a little ow-ee on his head during Cleveland’s Game 4 loss in the NBA Finals on Thursday night. He plowed into an NBA TV cameraman on the baseline after a hard foul by Golden State’s Andrew Bogut in the second quarter.

After the play, you may also have seen a rather angry-seeming man cursing out the cameraman for, I dunno, sitting in his assigned spot or something.
Mr. Happy here is Lynn Merritt, who is James’s brand manager at Nike. He has, shall we say, a history of protecting James from the camera’s probing eye.

In 2009, word got out that two videographers at the LeBron James Skills Academy had filmed Xavier’s Jordan Crawford dunking on James. God forbid this footage of LeBron getting dunked on get out, right? So Merritt went around and confiscated the footage, as documented at the time by Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com:

people like this shouldn't exist

like he got no right to be out there insulting and laying blame on the cameraman for lebron being out of control

cameraguy was in his designated place doing his job

I made a good chunk this season on Daily Fantasy.

I didn't click the 6 figure range, but I'm good for a solid 5 figure income.

I guess. And how often does that happen?
you don't know much about breeding and dogs. Dogs are genetically breed for temperament .... You breed to a bad temperament dog and the offspring are predispose and can/will have bad temperament.

Pounding my own chest?

No, I was defending myself because someone basically tried calling me an idiot.

What I make is irrelevant.

I've been supporting myself w/ poker and sports betting since I've been 16 years old, I turn 27 later this year.

Considering that 99.9% of people who get into this field either quit or end up broke in the first year, I'd say I'm doing just fine.

I still contend that it has more to do with your ability to accurately predict patterns, trends, and things like that, though.

That is absolutely NOT to be interpreted that I think you know nothing about basketball/sports, and I think someone else has interpreted my take as exactly that.

I'm not contending that a successful sports bettor knows nothing of sports and only knows trends.

I'm simply contending that I don't think that betting success is necessarily concrete evidence of sports knowledge.

Imma use this mba I got but 5 (6 sounds greedy) figures on the side would be nice. Any tips on this sports betting?

*always wany to try poker at the casino but never do.

OK. And most dog breeds that are reputed to have bad temperaments, like pit bulls, German Shepards, Chow Chows, etc., when trained and treated properly make fine pets. Obviously, there are exceptions on an individual level, but generally speaking I don't believe there any dog breeds that are just "bad." But that's just based on my own experience.

Overall, I cashed out a little over 5 figures since starting in January 2014. Took a few tough losses and could've ended up with more, but I've learned to be more disciplined in my approach. I understand where both ska and hyper are coming from, but I just don't think simply following trends lead to success in betting on a sport.

I don't think I'm good enough to quit my job and make it my main income  , but its definitely a great secondary income if you can discipline yourself the right way.

I knew exactly what you were getting at.

I know people who bet successfully on Basketball and know little to nothing about it in general.

Their favorite teams and players are based on the success of those players in their $ lineups.
