Elite Tight Ends (my opinion of course, with stats)

1)Gates - (67 rec, 890yds, 9TDs) #1 passing threat on SDG, gets double covered and still produces.
2a)Witten- (80 rc, 955 yds, 7TDs) Amazing route runner for his size, great hands.
2b)Gonzales- (79 rec, 954yds, 5TDs, 31yrs old!) No Words needed.
3)Winslow Jr.- (69 rec, 943 yds, 5TDs, 2 FUM) Athletic, Fast, will be #2 next year.

Because stats tell the WHOLE story? Like it was said before, he is the best pass catching TE in the NFL, but there are other nuances that he needs to improveon in order to be considered the best at his position. A lot of ya'll get caught up in the sportscenter bottom line or what the rating is in madden.

...Or we have watched a dude that wears the number 85 put up stats and make clutch plays for the last 4 years.

What makes K2 a better pass catching TE than any of the people we mentioned?
Stats just back up what we're claiming instead of just meaningless ASCIIcharacters on a message board.

Have you guys watched Fred Taylor lately? He still has that breakaway speed as he has shown against the Bills and Panthers in the past couple weeks. Againstthe Bills, he trotted into the endzone, against the Panthers, he outran their safeties. Freddy has still got it.

On a side note, did anybody see him run over whoever it was on the Panthers yesterday?
