Fair. I'm looking forward to seeing the Bucs next year. Like that collection of players.

See you week 9, can't wait to see the talks between Sherman and revis days before that game.
pressure's on freeman to deliver this year...cannot have an off year with all this talent. needs to play well (which he is clearly capable of).
Definitely . He is also playing for a new contract. Hopefully he handles the pressure well and balls out. I really want him to stay a Buc. Getting him a intermediate target would be a big help.
I can see Revis being a complete bust for the Bucs.

Dude, statements like this are stupid. Most signings/draft picks in the NFL can be seen as a potential bust
Let me take a side then: I expect this Revis signing to be a bust.
And why is that?
Bucs broke that stigma in 2002
Bucs broke that stigma in 2002
Yea they Broke that stigma for one season
Josh Freeman is not winning a Super Bowl
ATL

No
SEA
SF
WSH
DET
MIN
All teams that will be better than TB next year.
My only thing with the Bucs is who the hell is going to get to the passer?
Jesus Christ can't cover NFL receivers for 15 seconds.
And why is that?
I'm pretty skeptical about defensive backs being able to stay elite for a long period of time. They always seem to shine brightest for just a while and then fade rather quickly. Nnamdi is a good example of this, same with someone like DeAngelo Hall.
Revis made his name over the past 3-4 seasons and then had a very serious injury. He then agrees to a huge contract that is completely incentive-laden? And the Bucs throw in another pick if Revis is on the roster March 3 of next year? Sounds like multiple parties involved with this are skeptical about him being the same. I'm guessing that the guaranteed money part was a sticky point for the Bucs and Revis, so Revis' camp asked to forego guarantees and asked for huge potential money.
If Revis does great, then great. I just don't see it happening.

Rolando McClain of the Baltimore Ravens was arrested Sunday night and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
According to WHNT News, McClain was in his hometown of Decatur, Georgia at Pines Park when a large group gathered. Police ordered McClain and several other people to leave, and witnesses said McClain not only refused to do so, but began cursing at the officers.
McClain was handcuffed and taken to the city jail before bonding out a short time later.
McClain signed with the Ravens earlier this month after being released by the Oakland Raiders. In January, McClain was arrested in Decatur because of a window-tint violation and reportedly gave a false name to the police.
