Ryan Clark. I've definitely seen other defensive players laid out from injuries on those type of plays. If it can hurt offensive players when defenders do it, why would it be different when the coin is turned? Its just not highlighted because its not a penalty, and guys don't get fined/suspended for it.
Plus players are taught not to lead with the crown of their helmet because it can cause serious neck injuries.
Would you coach your child to do that?
