exactly...what HAS he done in his time? how many playoff wins?
he's turned around that team and got them going in the right direction, but i don't think he's got what it takes to get them over the next hurdle. it's not usually fair, but usually it''s the head coach who's head gets chopped. i'm not blaming marvin specifically...but his team continues to come up short in big spots.
Exactly, making the playoffs was cool a few years ago. But now it doesn't mean a damn thing to me unless we win a game, and up to this point Marvin has proved that he can't get the job done. The playoff game that he coached against the Jets a couple years ago was probably the worst head coaching job I've ever seen. Cincinnati fans accept mediocrity. It's just like the Reds this past season. Who gives a damn if they won the second most games in the regular season. Once you get to the playoffs you throw that out the window. They blew a 2-0 lead and were praised by this city.
