McCoy and Whiz
I guess we can't have a discussion about it
No one was in here saying Peyton didn't deserve it, just why you could see someone else winning it, that's all folks.
Slightly over Shady and JC Superstar.peyton has to get OPOY too, right?

JC / Shady ?
and somehow people tried to make a case for CJ (right now) being better than riceI wonder if Calvin will ever win one.Still amazes me that Moss / TO never won a ring.
Agree 100% DSA. Sometimes, tho, I think the AP uses the OPOY award as kind of a 'runner up' award. Seen it a few times where someone wins MVP, but the person second in voting wins OPOY.
^
Much like we saw last year.
So who had the best year as a WR?

Don't agree at all, unless the person in 2nd place also had a record breaking or unbelievable season.

We've changed the meaning of valuable in sports because we're obsessed with numbers.
I'd give best WR to Josh Gordon too
doing that damage with Campbell/Hoyer/Weinke
The white wes welker.
Wait wut ?
Should just have OMVP and DMVP. Tej only sport which warrants one for each side of the ball

How else can you do it, though? Using "What If" scenarios? "If so-and-so was here and so-and-so was there" isn't exactly a solid way of handing out an award. You can't measure what makes a person more or less valuable to a team, aside from W/L and stats.
