I don't think he's overrated. He kept his team consistently in the 10-win area for a long period with varying levels of talent on offense.

Went 3-13 in 2009 to 10-6 next season so its possible. I think this hire might bring in some more quality free agents too

don't get me wrong, i don't think he's some ******** coach or anything. he's good. but i don't think he's taking the bucs to the playoffs that fast. he's not THAT good. especially given his division.

atlanta will have a better year as well. the bucs will not be going anywhere next year but it will be a good building year.

For what it's worth, a different team has won our division each season, with each team having won the division three times each. So, while I don't think it'll happen in Lovie's first season, TB can certainly turn some heads and take the South next season, much like how we won it this year.
Gonna be rough in 2014, might only take 9 or 10 wins to grab 1st place.

I'm not saying TB goes to the playoff next year but I see a few more L's for Car and NO with Lovie in the picture now. Man can coach and that team has studs on defense and offense. I'm just not a fan of that QB.

its football. anything can happen. imo the probability of them getting to the playoffs is not great. i dont see them overtaking carolina, new orleans, or even atlanta. stranger things have happened though.

Me too. Good picks at all three spots, head coach nd both coordinators.
I was really holding out hope that rod Marineli would stay with Dallas and replace kiffin.
Him(rod) and lovie made magic together in Chicago. Can't be made at him wanting to replicate that.
