New York Yankees Official Thread - RIP Former Manager Petey Rose

Yep ... obviously it was a long shot to come back from 3-0, but damn they had some momentum going....what a disappointment:{

Shohei (NL-MVP) didn’t do anything this whole series, Muncy was something like 0-17 and we still got dominated by the the LA Freemen’s.

Overall good season, I enjoyed it. October was a lot of fun until the last few days. Sign Soto, sign Gleyber if he's reasonable, add a starter, add 1 or 2 good arms to the pen, probably plug Dominguez in LF, try to upgrade 1b if possible. This baseball season was a lot more fun than most recently, enjoyed posting about it with you guys.

Fielding killed us. So many errors even in game one. It’s the small things that la just didn’t do.

I think not starting 8th with weaver was weird too

Would've rather the Dodgers just beat the absolute dog**** outta us instead of all those self inflicted wound being the cause of our demise. :smh:

Boone didn't make 3 errors in the 5th, yall wilding with that. Game 1 was on him, tonight was not.
Not wilding at all. That game 1 decision was huge. Jeter even said it in the post game. That was a series shifting call. No he didn’t make 3 errors. But even with those errors, he had the chance to make better decisions. Khanle, who throws only one pitch, should not have been out there against that lineup at that time.

Boone has made bonehead decisions all year. They were just magnified on the biggest stage of them all.

Game 1, game 2 having 2 outs to try to tie it with a hit in the 9th, game 3 Freeman HR in the 1st, 5th inning tonight...:{

I’m with it except Gleyber too many errors

Kahnle hadn't allowed a run in 8.2 this postseason, only 4 hits. Idc how many pitches he throws, he'd been great. There's no second guessing that decisions, Kahnle just didn't perform.

Agree on game 1, should have been Hill. But hell Freeman took everyone deep, not sure it mattered.

Part of me wants Gleyber back and part of me says to move on. We have the fall league player of the week sitting in triple a with Durbin. Supposedly a shot at the big leagues next season. Vivas as well who brings more speed and contact.

Yea I'm not all in on Gleyber. He definitely looked good the last 2 or 3 months but idk how much I trust that to give him a huge deal.

In an extended series like this? Yea how many pitches and guys he faces matters. Smooth said it during the broadcast. The more the hitters get to see them the better the adjustments that are made.

Again, this has been Boone all year and then some. Was simply amplified now on the biggest stage.

I'm sad and high I didn't watch the last game and we won. I didn't watch this Game and we lost.

Thats the same for any pitcher. Enrique got 1 AB against him this series, the other 2 hadn't faced him. He didn't get slapped around. 1 hard hit ball, a broken bat, and a walk. No second guessing that decision, just didn't work out. He'd been great all postseaon

Boone got this team to the World Series, that's a good season for anyone being reasonable. People said the same type thing about Dave Robert's early on, that was just as silly. He now has 2 rings. Before the season anyone would have signed up for making the WS, calling for people to be fired now is just reactionary.

Stanton must be livid being a DH watching all those errors.

Errors costs us like 2 maybe 3 Games
