Because when they bring him up they want to keep him up here for the rest of his career. He'll get the David Wright treatment and be up in July.

They want him to get more experience in the minors, feel like they can get by with what they've got.  Manuel likes Jacobs too.

Well, the adventure begins with our rotation 2-5 pitchers. These are not the games we need to worry about(aka Santana starts). Our lineup looks alright, and adding Beltran and Reyes, it's only going to get better.
