even though it was an O's / nats game, best $15 on a ticket I ever spent, plus it was fireworks night. nice seeing Adam Jones/Markakis etc in person, theysmacked the Nats around with an 8 spot. Elijah coming up with a K in a bases loaded situation.

there really is no excuse for the Yanks to not win this weekend, they have the favorable pitching matchups all weekend
 
you cant really ask for more out of him though, Yankees SHOULD be winning these games with the lineup the Mets throw out there

mets just gotta limit damage till some of these guys get back, just stay CLOSE.
 
its been spring training/minor leagues for a while now, gotta get used to it.

at least Philly's pitching sucks they playing like crap
 
What is everyone's plan for the 4th? I'm headed to the Iladelph for my boy's 21st and the Mets/Phils game. If anyone else is gonna be there, let meknow.
 
No solid plans for the 4th yet. But I've got a ton of options. I'll probably miss most of the games next weekend.

Shoot, I missed both games this weekend already.

yeah i havent watched any game this weekend but you knew the Mets wouldnt be able to compete this weekend with the current lineup and unfavorable pitchingmatchups.

all you can do is hope guys come back soon and are effective, before its too late.

its amazing how they can stay afloat .500 the way they Santana and two # 5 starters in the rotation.....winning that Cards series was a huge surprise.
 
Between being there Friday Night and The one at the Stadium two sundays back AND watching that great performance last night, I just watch and laugh.

I was offered two tickets for tonight and My dad took them and I said give them to my sister, I rather be home Drunk breaking things there if anything happensthan being put in cuffs because of the Yankee fans ragging on me for the sweep. lol.


Friday was a fun night though. especially the rain.
 
jerry saying that the current lineup "can only score
runs if the other team makes a mistake" is
basically calling out Omar to get another bat.

too many holes to fill though, i wouldnt make a move
unless you can get someone who will be here longer than
one season.

Jerry's got to instill SOME confidence in these guys though,
but it sure aiint easy being in his shoes right now.
 
Yeah, we shouldn't make any moves. No trades at least.

Cuz we'd sacrifice too many prospects to fill all the holes we have.

As long as the boys go out and compete hard every night, I'm happy.
 
Our Defense has been horrible all series.

Murph never should of went to third to begin with.

Hopefully the offense kicks in.

out scored against the yankees 33 - 2 since the 15 - 0 game in the bronx
 
Tatis/Murph/Evans - Does not matter

All are not great at first but Murph is learning on the fly

Murph just needs to not make plays like the one I mentioned

He will probably be there next year also

Yeah but they apparently are trying to keep Murphy out of left and convert him to 1st.

And yeah VC3, he definitely should have went to 1st on that play.

I really like Fernando's defense. Just wish he would start to hit.
