[[ NEW YORK METS 2009 OFFSEASON POST: Beltran ahead of schedule ]]

The Mets, showing everyone how to lose games in every way imaginable.

Barely got to watch the game last night because I was at a kegger, but when A-Rod was up, I literally said watch an outfielder drop a routine flyball with 2outs and the Yankees win by one. I was getting updates over blackberrys, and then my boy texts me "nice catch haha". Asked what happened and thenjust proceeded to get highly inebriated.

No words at all.

Barely even want to watch the game today, but I will keep suffering.

Today's Lineup:

Castillo 2B
Cora SS
Beltran CF
Wright 3B
Sheffield DH
Tatis 1b
Church RF
Santos C
Martinez LF

How are you going to bench Castillo for dropping a fly ball?

Let alone when the team is injured? These guys have to play.

Sheffield to have an MRI.

^^^ the whole mets squad Yankees pen is a joke

When you lose a game 2 days ago because of 2 defensive mistakes your head should be on straight and concentrated throughout the whole game. That dropped flyball cost them a game they can't afford to lose with this depleted team. It's a joke he's playing.

Nice job by Santos delivering another big hit.

Santos and A-Rod home runs were two of the cheapest I've seen this season.

Those 2 were damn pop ups.

This dude is like the NT resident ballpark analyst. Face it, for the billion and a half+ dollars that was spent on that place, it's a joke.

That was a good one Mr. Sterling, please continue calling your play by play with your frequent silent moments while Susan is under the table.
