OK, I'm done.

There really is nothing that can be said.

Their defense has been awful all season long, but on a routine play? I've seen these things lead to losses far too many.

What a waste, I feel terrible for K-Rod he got out of that.

Strawberry saying that it was another little mistake.

DROPPING A POP UP IS NOT A LITTLE MISTAKE WHEN YOU HAVE TWO ON WITH TWO OUTS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE NINTH STRAW.

I'm so pissed right now. This is like the worst sports weekend ever.

- Mets lose to the Yanks on the most bs play.

- Lakers are about to win the title.

- Wings lose the Cup

- HIV running through the porn industry

What. The. $@*#.

You're on a roll

Sad thing, this is the 2nd time this happened. Delgado dropping a pop up with 2 outs in the 9th, which they luckily didn't lose.

Church missing 3rd base which cost them a win, Beltran/David losing the game vs the Phils on routine plays.

This is the difference between the Phils and the Mets....the Phils don't make those mistakes defensively, and as mediocre as their pitching is theirdefense backs them up.

Orlando Hudson would've made that play Omar.

I feel for y'all, 'cause it seems like you guys are always one step away from winning the game, and then a simple situation blows up.

That was hilarious, though.

I need to see the SNY broadcast.

Last post on this, but the worst part was he threw to 2nd base.

if he actually got up and threw to home, Teix was dead to rights.

Castillo didn't even give the team a chance.

I won't let this bother me too much since Boston took care of business (not like the division is realistic anyways), but every loss counts as we'veseen the past two seasons. I'm going to need another beer.

Cam to TV?

I'm sure it'll be uploaded soon, though.
You're not missing anything HTTB.

All you're gonna hear is Gary's silence.

Good night all. Henny here I come.

Funny thing is the Mets can probably still win this series even with Nieves pitching tomm. Get to the Yankees pen and pitches are on a tee.

Joba throwing 100 pitches through 4-5 innings and A-Rod choking in the 9th.....the perfect script.

2 potential game winning hits by David in the past 3 days goes for naught, one today and one where Werth saved the game.

I leave my house 2 outs. I get in my friend's car K-Rod has thrown a pitch or two to A-Rod. We drive 5 blocks to Queens Blvd. and we sit at the light tothe entrance ramp for the LIE Midtown Tunnel. Light turns green and Howie Rose gives the most shocking and disturbing call in Mets history, "HE DROPPEDTHE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!" If Jerry starts Luis Castillo tomorrow I will boycott the Mets and make a sacrifice to Jobu and give him rum to get Jerry Manuelfired. Disgusting. Pathetic. Cliche. Some unlucky wife is dying tonight.

I don't understand how we are still 4 games out, we have 2 superstars and the rest are mediocre or scrub players.

Our pitching is going to keep us in this damn thing, but if this defense isn't sharp the season will end before we know it.

Even though the offense has been scrappy vs the good teams, this is the 3rd straight game we blew (almost all because of routine defensive plays). Its toughwhen teams can score instant runs on home runs and we have to get base hit rallies to score.

All we could hope for is this team to stay afloat until bodies come back, but with that gift wrapped game yesterday they'll probably lose this series (youcan't expect anything out of Nieve).

I don't care about stats, K-Rod doesn't have any blown saves in my eyes. His ERA actually dropped last night.

K-Rod's ERA isn't the only thing that dropped last night.

That blown save has gotta be burning Frankie on the inside though.

And it's sad that it was Castillo b/c he was having a nice bounce-back season.

But now, unless he goes on some type of monster hot streak, it's pretty much a wrap for him with the fans when the Mets return home.

Luis won't even hear it from the Met fans at Yankee Stadium today b/c all the Yankee fans will be cheering wildly for him when he steps to the plate.

Oh well, it's a new day. Time to turn the page.

And yeah, I think he should start today too.
