I'm surprised at how close we kept this game with such poor shooting.

It was a shame that VC couldn't finish the entire game.

Harris didnt have a good shooting night. And I think Brook was in foul trouble guarding Howard. I didnt think they were going to keep it that close. They def.keep up the competitiveness all season.

Will not be here for the game tonight, Parties galore tonight.

Wizards will be very tough.

Go NETS!!!!!!!

Man, if Caron doesn't play or isn't 100, I can't see why the Nets wouldn't be able to pull tonight's game out.

I love listening to Marv and Czar go off on tangents.

This whole Randy Foye (leading into the Brandon Roy trade) is good stuff.

Devin out already due that groin
Nets' Harris out at least a week with sore groin
WASHINGTON (AP)-New Jersey Nets point guard Devin Harris(notes) said he'll be sidelined at least a week because of an injured right groin.

Harris sat out Saturday night's game against the Washington Wizards and will leave the Nets' road trip Sunday to see a specialist in Chicago.

Harris said he's aiming to return in seven to 10 days.

"Maybe longer," he said. "It's not going to be shorter."

Harris originally hurt the groin in an exhibition game on Oct. 13 and reinjured it during Friday's loss to Orlando.

"I'm a little past frustrated right now," Harris said. "At this point, you've just got to wait it out."

Harris averaged 15 points, 7.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds in the Nets' first two games. He said his movement was restricted during Friday's game.

"I felt like I couldn't beat certain guys off the dribble," Harris said. "I can't play that way."

After his visit with the specialist, Harris will head to New Jersey. He said he wants to make sure the injury is completed healed before he returns.

"When I come back, I have to feel nothing-nothing at all," Harris said.

Asked if he was afraid the injury was major, Harris groaned.

"No, of course not," he said, knocking his hand on his wooden cubicle. "Seven to 10 days."

Coach Lawrence Frank said the Nets want to "exhaust all options" to get Harris healed.

"With any player you want to do everything you can," Frank said, "to make sure he's healthy so it's not recurring."

Rafer Alston(notes) started in Harris' place Saturday.

Well no Devin for this weeks games

Good thing we did keep skip

Devin could be out longer too

this year will be frustrating for sure but it was expected

begin the oven under lawrence's seat is getting turned on

0-3 with no Devin for 7-10 days isn't a good sign at all.

We have a winnable game coming up in Charlotte though, lets get it

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nets actually put together a nice streak with Devin out.

Charlotte, Denver, Philadelphia (twice), Boston, Orlando, and Miami are on our schedule within the next two weeks.

It doesn't matter too much, but 3 of those games are home games.

If we don't get that W against the Bobcats, we're looking at a possible 0-10 start.
